Supply is literally the most meaningless number to look in a coin.
Unless you want to look at the inflation, then you compare the available supply to the max supply. This gives you an idea of the inflation. NEO has yet to release 35% of the coin, which will then dilute the value of the already available coins. XRB has all coins released. Inflation can be seen as a positive and a negative thing. There are different opinions on it.
