It had it's boom 2 years ago but no longer has much interest. Think about it this way, top fitness experts who compete on national levels, look 10 times better than yourself, have had worse starting points, went to school to become dieticians/physios/exercise scientists/biologists, and actually utilize their knowledge to help people are BARELY getting 100k views per video. That's around 100 dollars per video, and creating quality content is hard and takes a while.

You need a good camera with a cine lens (lenses are 800-2000 dollars and decent video cameras are 1000-2000 dollars), a good lighting set up, the ability to edit videos, creativity, and lots of knowledge. As somebody who has done quite a bit of filming in the past I can tell you that the effort and money is not worth it, and you'll make more investing that time and money elsewhere. You'll probably only get 10k views per video if you're being optimistic.

Just do the twitch thing, it's easier to make money as a girl with a small number of subs there(you'll actually get more donations). Invest in project of your choice, and then cash out next December to be able to afford a down payment on a home in an area near a university.. Rent that home out to students and earn passive income.

I think really the easiest way to gain inspiration is to search whatever niche and see who is top. What do they do, what hashtags, do they all link to their own website? Do they sell stuff on their website? What do they sell? Why couldn't you do the same?
