Who created Bitcoin?

Who is Satoshi?
Was Satoshi one person or two? A group of four? Was Satoshi not a person but rather a government organization? Some say the NSA created Bitcoin. Others say an AI created it.

Lets get a serious discussion going on this. Lets hear your theories speculations.

al gore

Chimp Chinmley

I remember some Veeky Forumstard did some elaborate analysis and concluded it was probably Craig Wright.

nick szabo. i think this should be known by now

""""elaborate analysis""""

vitalik would have been like 10 years old at the time so...

Fuckin normie

...

I agree with this guy, it was Al Gore.

Hal Finney, common knowledge among the enlightened.

Whats your pic from?

Sam Hyde

I watched the bitcoin documentary on netflix, so I'm an expert now. Most likely Hal finney.

i created btc ama

source?

Bottom two, probably with help from grad students, and possibly with Pentagon funding (after it gained initial notoriety).

All those speculation, my face it just Jap NEET with shit ton of time, now goin slient because trying to make anime real

it was a nobody

the concept of consecutively hashing hashes in a chain comes from storing passwords. the salt value is the transactions blocks in the case of cryptos. this is common practice for any web dev, just slightly adopted and expanded with signatures
if you think it must have been a genius, then you're looking into the wrong direction entirely

youtu.be/emDJTGTrEm0

Cross out Vitalik and Dorian. The others together are Satoshi Nakamoto with Picture being a clever way to stay anonymous. Bitcoin itself is a meme at the same time it's the first realized cryptocurrency. Szabo and Finney together were the real force. It's Szabo leading the way since he's dedicated most of his life to cryptography and computer science.

1) Nick Szabo learned with Hal Finney about "proof of work" algorithms.
2) Nick developed Bitgold, incorporating ideas from Digicash, Hascash, the NSA, and Wei Dai and asked for help to take the idea a step further in his blog.
3) Craig Wright read Nick's post and came up with Bitcoin. He wrote the first draft of the whitepaper and sent it to Nick.
4) Nick revised the draft and sent back to Craig. Dave Kleiman also revised the paper.
5) Craig sent the whitepaper o the cypehrpunk listserv as Satoshi Nakamoto.
6) Hal Finney was the first to comment on the whitepaper on the cypherpunks listserv.
7) Hal Finney and Dave Kleiman wrote the code.

Thank me later.

This is accurate or close to accurate

If you want the origin of Bitcoin look no further than Bitgold

Craig Wright convinced the billionaire Bodog casino guy that he was Satoshi—to get him to pay off Wright's massive debts and fund the registration of a trove of blockchain related patents. Because they're not worth anything if the real Satoshi emerges to challenge, supersede and rescind them.

According to Oldfagbiztard, Satoshi Nakamoto is not a person, but a organization

I personally believe it was Hal Finney or Nick Szabo, or both of them working together.

Hal Finney died in 2014, and this would explain why none of Satoshi's bitcoin has ever been touched. Hal said he left the Bitcoin he mined to his family, but if he was Satoshi, he had two wallets. The wallet he used for Satoshi, and the wallet he tested the first transactions with, which he left for his family.
Taken from the Bitcointalk forum:

"All timestamps on the forum point to Satoshi being a man in the western part of the United States in either California, Oregon, or Nevada. Hal Finney was in California. Which brings me to my next point. There was only one man in California named Satoshi Nakamoto. This man lived two streets over from Hal Finney. Let that sink in for a second. No, this man had absolutely nothing to do with the creation of Bitcoin. He’s not a computer programmer in any way. I don’t even believe Hal Finney and Dorian Satoshi Nakamoto even met. Hal Finney saw that Satoshi Nakamotos house was being foreclosed two streets away and thought it would be the ultimate symbol to the Bitcoin project and an example of banks mistreating people. A problem Bitcoin can solve. That, and he had a cool name. "
As for Nick Szabo, he was already working on a cryptocurrency called "bit gold" as far back as 1998. He has the technical know how to make Bitcoin. It's a strong possibility he made it, but this theory lacks the strange coincidences and details of the Hal Finney theory.

That sounds more like it. I was close lol Was reading Finney's message about his ALS. Imagine if he didn't die.

Trips of truth. Isn't Peter Theil (musks partner at paypal) also involved ik the creation of Etherium?

This maybe, but Craig is an asshat and does not deserve the Satoshi title, or at least, it is important that all of them deserve the recognition and that Craig does not become the center of attention. Craig is a con-artist, a braggart, and a fucking charlatan honestly.

This sounds pretty plausible. How did you come to these conclusions? Do you have insider info?

Nice, just bought 100k ALS

>Who is Satoshi?
twitter.com/solardiz

>Craig is a con-artist, a braggart, and a fucking charlatan honestly

This.

After Gavin Anderson meet with the CIA Satoshi was never heard from again. The NIST recently put out a Blockchain Review

NIST work with the NSA and put this out

>Gavin Anderson

No. So sick of this shit. I wish he would just fucking tell the world so you sad faggots would shut the fuck up

No white person would use some Gooky pseudonym, it's obviously not Craig Wright.

The theory has been floating around for a while now. If you stick around, you'll eventually encounter it and if you did your research, it's one of the likelier possibilities. The unfortunate aspect is Craig's involvement because he is a liability. Pretty cliche problem that the guy who technically invented the idea, but did none of the legwork is the fucking liability lol. The fact that he outed himself adds to the conviction that he is a problem. Better to have stayed quiet imo, if he truly cared about the project and not his own reputation, but he is trying to escape the Aussie tax authorities and needs Bitcoin as his alibi. Once again, demonstrating his charlatanry and untrsutworthiness.

...

Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. Any more stuff on the NSA SHA-256 stuff? That's scary as fuck.

Craig is the economics genius and true visionary behind the project. Others brought their own strengths to the team.

Craig holds the 1 million+ BTC as well, from his mining operation he ran with Dave Kleinmann.

Craig is using funds from the Satoshi wallet to fund Nchain and the rebuilding of Bitcoin Cash

You are a fucking moron if you think those people created bitcoin..

Are you saying it's Alexander Peslyak?

>Are you saying it's Alexander Peslyak?

O well fucking done.

In Japanese the word Satoshi Nakamoto can be interpreted to mean central intellegence

The final redpill is that the NWO one world currency will be a crypto. Thats why the regulation FUD is irrelevant. They will allow crypto to thrive and they dont want there to be nationalized cryptos.

(they) created crypto to reign in the new world order. When the biggest recession of our time comes, you will know the push for full crypto implementation has come.

You just have to identify the crypto (they) will chose for the NWO currency to become filthy rich in the next 10 years.

With that in mind, you now realize Craig Wright is an asset of (theirs).

>being this distressed about the creator of the e-sheckel

Me.

I'll give you a little taste of my CPU power and hack into Veeky Forums to get repeating digits for the lulz real quick

Check em

>>being this distressed about the creator of the e-sheckel

Muh craig. Puke inducing. So now you know who it is really. Boring really. Move on.

Dubs confirm. Hello Satoshi.

You're a retard alex but I glove you.

check these tho

Him being an angry australian doesn't make him less smart. You fags are way too emotional about this.
>hurr I dont like him so he cant be satoshi

Except he's not. End of. Nothing more. That's all she wrote. Finality. End of discussion. Nope. Not.

Actually first white paper came out in 1996

If I get dubs I invalidate your post and I am Sminem Nakamoto

This is how it went down and you know its true:

50 shades of gay.

>single handedly write the Bitcoin client
>not a genius

it's a shitload of work, and it's a concept that stood the test of time

none of the "gen 2" or "gen 3" cryptos have the same safety guarantees

based on activity time it was someone in the United States, or someone who has a sleeping disorder since he posted during times that Americans were awake, not during Japan day time

It's a value sink for quantitative easing to prevent a catastrophic crash via a safety valve.

If the usa drops using it as black book currency, they all crash.

Make your money in the casino and walk as all this shits fiat.

Charles Henry Carey is a hidden economist that could've saved us but the British Jews in the city of London shot Lincoln to keep us on the gold standard and off greenback policy.

Fertile land and labor is the only true value sink.

>muh intrinsic value

Sorry Henry Charles Carey. Enjoy your pump and dumps. If it's how everything else is, might as well bring that usury poison here.

...

or he used a VPN ;)

Nice refutation, not a gold bug faggot. Actually a trained economist.

Jews play you like cattle with their false dichotomies of gold vs fiat.

Not my fault I see the casino for what it is. If it scares you, not my problem. Go play with your Jew buddies.

I mean, you could say "he had insomnia so he was up at 4 AM Japan time all the time" or you could just admit he was on a normal schedule and lived in the USA

A Japanese dude obsessed with privacy created it, became incredibly famous and wealthy basically overnight and then went into hiding because he actually valued his privacy. It's not hard and it's not a conspiracy theory.

The idea it is created by a government or government organisation is a plot to make BTC seem controlled. It's utter nonsense of course.

How would a SHA256 backdoor allow it to spy on BTC users you spastic.

chumlee is satoshi nakamoto

I used to think that cryptocurrencies were made for the people by the people until I read about the ''Satoshi Nakamoto = CIA / Final generation of crypto = NWO money''

We are all Satoshi.

Why was Gavin Andersen handed the reigns though?

Watch this blackpill:

The best you can do is try getting rich before total hellstate is implemented.

who ever they are they were on b around 2007
I recognise the language and examples like I have known and interacted with this person, if not directly at least with a large subgroup of people from b. The examples about the newspaper and problem of verifying wether someone is real and the double spending solution, its all too much like b in 2007. So let that fuzzy constraint help you. Also it is at least 2 people from the way the paper is written, having written a few papers myself, this is was done quickly and then revisited several times, the idea qwas complete for a while before it was released.

Sir Gay unironically

If he a weebo neet, staying up at 4am is normal

Just from reading the style of writing I can suppor the claims about the number of drafts.

The writer was susinct and didn't mess around, this is like a conversation between 3 people that was written by one and then editted or improved by another one or two and then the first, one or two times.

it's not staying up until 4 am, it's starting to post at midnight and stopping at 4PM Japan time

that's full on sleep disorder, especially since that was his posting times consistently, not just some days

Nick Szabo and Ian Grigg

This is the truth

>including a Korean company in his bullshit attempt and creating an acronym that matches Satoshi's name
>he doesn't into moonrunes in the year of our lord 2000 + (6 ^ 2) / 2
>and yet he thinks he can call others 'normie'

These days the more and more I think that Bitcoin is a CIA experiement and they will dump on us in the end.

that fat fucking assie has demonstrated being too stupid to manage it, thats for sure.

and thats going back into his history and posts pre 2010.

This guy

damn...

Wtf is that

How come they can catch Osama Bin Laden but not some people posting on the internet and making a big technology. I mean, law enforcement has no reason to pursue them but they must know who they are right? Or at least the CIA or something

Have you ever read Finney's blogs? It wasn't him. Maybe Craig Wright or his dead friend Dave Kleiman. Or some other dead guy.

The original hash algorithm used by Bitcoin (SHA-256) was created by the NSA...lol.

I think it is Nick Szabo without a doubt.

how does anybody believe it's not hal finney

thiel is also an advisor to trump, probably hence why that hearing on crypto went so favourably the other day.

The BIA

>Craig is an asshat and does not deserve the Satoshi title, or at least, it is important that all of them deserve the recognition and that Craig does not become the center of attention. Craig is a con-artist, a braggart, and a fucking charlatan honestly.
There is no evidence of him being a con-artist or charlatan though he definitely is a braggart. But if he is Satoshi and has over 1 million BTC he has every right to be. That being said he is also one the best minds in this space. He makes Nick Szabo look like a fool. Only Peter Rizun and Vitalik Buterin can compete with Craig in terms of intellect.

Have you ever read Nick's blogs? Or did you watch that interview where Nick swore Bitcoin was not Turing complete even though it was? Or did you see all those posts by Satoshi criticizing Nick for not understanding how Bitcoin was meant to scale? Nick's work definitely laid the foundation for Bitcoin, but he didn't create it and he definitely did not write the whitepaper. He is opposed to much of what is in the whitepaper and is opposed to Satoshi's vision for scaling.

None of these people, Satoshi was British. He referred to his apartment as a 'flat', called math 'maths' and posted during UK evening hours

John Titor Was Right
