Thin Sauce recipie

Recently acquired a new smoker and am looking for a good sauce recipe, I will not sure what it's called but a bbq joint I have been to before has a very thin vinegar based sauce it has pepper flakes and maybe chili powder and some Worcestershire maybe....does anyone have a recipe for something like this. also it's mild In taste and is the consistency or water....thanks

look up some decent carolina based sauces made with vinegar. Mostly NC uses it. It's probably what you're looking for. Also southern Virginia uses it for whole pig pickins.

>vinegar based sauce

Im white folks senpai.

have you never cooked a pig before or are you just retarded?

wait wait wait I know what means! Let's just dump a whole gallon of sweet baby fayes thick and sweet bbq sauce on a whole pig!

I actually just got done making a couple of sauces for this weekend. Smoking a couple pork butts for a group of people.

pic related muh sauces

im fairly new to smoking, I have done some leg quarters, a couple Boston butts thus far but have been using store bought bullshit sauces, plan on doing a couple racks of ribs abt mid week, maybe some shoulder or chops

Nice dude, nothing like kicking back with a beer and watching the smoke roll. What kind of smoker do you have?

ya so mine just gets ignored and you go with mustard. cool shit OP. fucking faggot don't even bother posting next time if all you want is some mustard on some dry ass shitty meat.

>not using brown sugar and molasses
Plebs, it's like you don't even like flavor.

who said there wasn't any in my sauce senpai?

a lot of the carolina sauces do use molasses and brown sugar actually. Did you even bother looking to see? No, you didn't. This is fortune. I forgot. My bad.

It's a master built electric smoker, I know it's not the preferred method but it's what I have so im making It work, and the temp controls make it handy for a newbie

le kicking back with a beer for 12 hours and expecting to be awake when it's done

I didn't ignore u, I was looking up what u said

nothing wrong with those, I still have mine and use it for mostly cold smoking now.

a couple beers make you fall asleep?

I have my beer to smoke time ratio worked out pretty well, im pretty well buzzed and ready to eat about the time its finishing up

1 cup apple cider vinegar
1 cup white vinegar
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon sugar or brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
hot sauce to taste
you can put some worcestershire sauce in there if you want, but I don't

best pork bbq out there. best served on a bun with a vinegar based slaw

that sounds just about like what im looking for...how many servings are you getting out of that recipe?

How is this edible?

What exactly is confusing you? It's common to use an acidic component in conjunction with fatty meats like pork. Also, that amount of sauce will season a great deal of meat. Because it's thin and runny there's only a small amount of it present in each bite.
