Is it actually possible to liquefy garlic? This scene has haunted me for years

In my fucking experience when I tried this shit back in fucking college, you can't liquefy razor sliced garlic in the fuckin goddamn oil in the pan. It was just sensational and that's all, you can't do it.

Should I watch Goodfellas? I've never seen it nor any of the Godfather films and I feel like I should have watch them by now at age 27.

I think it's definitely worth watching, and there's a LOT of food moments. It seems like they're eating every other scene. There's an especially funny scene where he's cooking dinner. I won't spoil it beyond that!

If you roast garlic in the oven for long enough, it becomes a more mild, spreadable substance. It's absolutely delicious on bread. And yes. If you slice it thin enough and cook it at high enough heat, it will break down. Liquefy is putting it a bit too harshly. But it does become soft.

Liquefy is not physically possible, but when you're in prison there is only one thing you've got: time. You take your time prepping the ingredients, and with razor thin garlic, that'll break up pretty easily in the hot oil and make a good sauce.

That being said, I tried it before, and it's not really worth the effort. You can dice it for the quick and easy, or do the kosher salt mash'em'up, but doesn't matter all that much unless you're eating raw...

This is pure speculation on my part but Edwards getting them made was irrelevant: he would have had them all clipped sooner or later, the feds getting on their trail just sped up the timeline. These fucking morons were anything but low key with their earnings and from the jump were liabilities.
