Which of these items is more filling:

Which of these items is more filling:

* one egg, over-easy

* a warm, flaky buttermilk biscuit from KFC

kfc biscuit, it has 223 calories, at least double that of an egg, plus it has air pockets, so it feels more filling.

egg, provided you do not fry the yolk hard. while the biscuit will feel more satisfying to eat, the egg will keep you fuller longer despite its less nutritional value due to the extra time needed to break it down. Conversaly, the biscuit will fill you less but be more of an energy charge as more of the energy is immediately available.

How? You don't eat the air fuckface

No, but it requires more chewing. The more you chew your food and the bigger it's the fuller you feel and you do eat air bitch tits, that is where most of your farts come from.

nice try

Eggs rank a bit higher on the Satiety Index than bread

Please, you're only embarrassing yourself

I didn't know such a thing existed.

It's a lot more bread.

An egg has 78 calories according to google. And says the biscuit has 223 calories.

Thank you, a large egg has 90 calories. It's just logicaly to pick the biscuit, plus at kfc, you can get some honey and butter... knock it up to 300 easy.

doesn't matter

fat is more filling than carbs because it slows down digestion time whereas carbs are digested more quickly than the other macros

so the more fat, the fuller.

9 g in biscuit
5g in egg.

biscuit then, altho the protein in the egg will help satiate you as well.

neither are very substantial though so it's a crapshoot. depends on what you've eaten recently, how much water you've had, and your energy expenditure.

4g of protein in biscuit
6g in egg

But biscuit has over double the calories.

The biscuit is more filling, but the egg will sate your hunger more.

I'm curious how this situation happens in the first place. Under what conditions is this scenario a reality? One egg or a KFC biscuit? One egg assumes the person has the ability to cook it, which means they aren't so poor that all they can afford is the egg or biscuit.

You have a dollar in your pocket, you wake up at 11 and have work at noon. You have one egg in your fridge, you can either fry it quick and gobble that shit up or stop by the kfc across the street and get you a fucking biscuit.

calories aren't an indicator of what will keep you full. 500 calories of sugar will not satiate you, but 200 calories of fat/protein probably will. watch macronutrients (and fiber! soluble fiber will slow down digestion as well) more than calories if you're trying to figure out how to satisfy yourself/how to provide yourself with energy.

not that gy but to be fair, if you're in a situation where the only food you have in your home is a single egg, you have some other problems

there is really no excuse for not always having some oats on hand at the very least, shit is cheap as fuck

already said this shit and no one listened.
