MIT Technology Review - Do we have a response to this?

>Quantum Computers Pose Imminent Threat to Bitcoin Security
>The massive calculating power of quantum computers will be able to break Bitcoin security within 10 years, say security experts.

it's not random FUD, a Singaporean institute put out an academic peer-reviewed article (read: not a memepaper) about the risk to bitcoin from quantum computing operations the chinks are working on. Does Sergey have an answer to this shit?

Supposedly a fork of bitcoin cash is working on this. It's called Bitcoin Candy

WTF am i lookng at

If this is true the whole banking system is going to be fucking compromised.

It represents satoshis' vision, after all, the whitepaper said "An electronic p2p candy system"

Anyone who knows anything about sha-256 will have their sides in orbit

i'd hit it.

thats why we invest in ADA boys
will be over 6k sat by the 22nd

Hmmmz0r. it says January 18th, so it's already split? I have to buy bitcoin trash to get it? Sucks that bitcoin cash is actually the truth bitcoin after all...

Quantum resistant algorithms already exist and can easily be forked into Bitcoin given enough urgency. Nobody will want to be on the vulnerable chain so a consensus wont even be a problem.

Of course. Everyone knows that. Cardano is working on quantum resistant blockchains. Don't think you Stinky Linkies stand a chance.

ever heard of lattice based cryptography you brainlet? There is no threat

Sergey doesn't have to do shit, chainlink is blockchain agnostic so whoever figures that shit out Sergey will just build on that

Quantum computers do not work. They are a massive fraud to extort money for research. They cannot control noise in quantum computers, which makes them comparable to classical computers.

Doesn't IOTA solve this problem?

Yes and no.

Quantum computers will never be able to operate at room temperature, it will need a massive cryo setup .

We have an answer to this and it's called cardano.

>yes and no
Back to plebbit and never post here again

you smell

Go back to pleddit faggot
Fuck off
No one wants you posting here
