Restaurant has open soda fountain

>restaurant has open soda fountain
>refills aren't free
Why is this allowed?

literally never heard of a restaurant where refills aren't free

>literally only ever eaten at fast food and chain restaurants

FTFY

Who the fuck goes to a restaurant and orders soda?

I only do this if their water tastes weird.

don't know why you guys don't just drink water.
>free
>refreshing
>cold
>doesn't taste like soda
>doesn't have tons of sugar like soda

I think the most i've spent on a dinner was 100 bucks and I still drank water.

>restaurant has open soda fountain

>going to fast food places

>paying for refills is superior

Are you even old enough to be posting here?

how old do i need to be to pay for refills of water/tea/soda and not complain about it?

>inb4 i only drink expensive wine with dinner

>cold
Water isn't inherently cold

Ordering soda at a restaurant in the first place, and then getting upset to have to pay another dollar for a refill, makes you a little baby.

>order orange juice
>baby glass
>waitress refills it without you asking
>$9 worth of orange juice refills

The only place that would happen at is intentionally overpriced to keep out people like you.

It's called luxury costs, and it's you're own fault for showing up at a place you don't belong.

There are times when this has upset me as well. If I'm eating fast food or at a place with nasty tasty tap that is casual, I'll get a soda. Paying 2~ dollars for a single can is ridiculous, as is places like OP describes. I've seen this primarly in the LA/OC area when I lived there. It'd be 25-75 cents for a refill in a lot of fast food places. Ridiculous.

Nah! Even places like fucking Denny's charge you like 3.50 for a glass of OJ, and while they might come by with a pitcher and ask you if you want more, they won't throw in they're going to charge you for an extra one. Assholes.

I bring some MRE heating elements with me pretty much wherever I go. If I go out to eat, I just boil some of the free water that they give you with my MRE heater and throw in some rosehips that I have in my pocket. Awesome free hot tea, baby!

>people drinking soda

why is this allowed?

Wendys

Where has this ever happened?
This is definitely not a thing

>Wendy's
Where is this Wendy's? Mine does free refills.

>no free refills
>just get a refill anyway

If they catch you, just say you didn't realize you're not allowed refills.

>rock or something

Last guy who did this got a ticket for shoplifting

How? Was the cop at the restaurant already?

Soda drinkers to fat to run from the po-leese

kys

What?

kys

What?

>tfw you ask a simple question and you get an irrelevant, nonsensical answer

i like to imagine the neckbeard spamming kys to simple questions laughing over his keyboard so hard that he chokes on his mountain dew

>open soda fountain
>kid tries to drink directly from it
>tell him nicely he probably shouldn't do that.
>fat mother gets in my face telling me to not tell her how to raise her child.

uhm excuse me? You aren't making any sense to me

kys

>Sitting in resturant having dinner with wife and wifes son
>Hear the distinct sound of a velcro pocket being opened and turn my head
>Spot a neckbeard sitting alone in a booth
>Digs in his cargo shorts pocket and pulls out a FRH
>He goes into his pocket a second time pulling out a handful of mushed up rosehips
>He rips open the heater and throws in the rosehips
>Slowly starts to fill the heater up with water from the pitcher on the table spilling half of it onto his plate full of chicken fingers and fries
>Now he folds the upper half of the bag and shakes it for a full minute
>The bag starts letting steam out and is making noise while all the other patrons are staring at him
>He unfolds the top half and starts drinking straight out of the bag while eating his chicken fingers and fries covered in a mix of water, ranch and ketchup
