French toast, meat and passion fruit juice.

I always go for the savory stuff: eggs, sausage, potatoes, ham, etc. I prefer having protein for breakfast, so that's what I go for, with a little potato on the side. I don't usually eat carbs for breakfast even at home, except for oatmeal a couple times a week (for muh health) and the occasional bran muffin.

Oh, I forgot fruit. I am a whore for fresh fruit at breakfast, though. So if the buffet has any fruit on it, I'll have that before I start on the savory stuff.

Here in the Northwest United States we run for the crab and shrimp.

Had those for the first time this week. WAY too much bread. I can see why China used them for their armies, they're handy. But they really aren't good for breakfast/brunch.

Depends on the buffet and why in there.

The Indian casino near me has a pretty good buffet that is changed out regularly and is popular enough that the best stuff is always being replaced.

Every once in a great while, maybe one every 5-6 months, I go to this cheap Asian buffet and load up on honey walnut shrimp, this grilled chicken they have, (imitation) crab pockets (not sure what they're actually called ), and broccoli beef.

Fuck I'm actually craving that cheap shit right now, might go get a couple plates.

Every morning when I get off of work I ask the chef to fry my up a bunch of eggs. While I wait I grab hash-browns and sausage. Sometimes I get friend bologna if i'm feeling newfy.

Whatever the made-to-order stand is doing. Crepes or omelettes or belgian waffle, I don't care, I'm ordering some shit. Then while it's being made I'll go make a plate of stuff.

I went to a breakfast buffet at a Shoney's in New Orleans.

The size and behavior of the people there almost made me physically ill. People with overloaded plates eating while continuing to browse the trays. People in mobility scooters getting yet another plate. Restaurant staff having to re-space the booths to accommodate the stomachs of diners once they ran out of tables.

It was like that scene in The Wire where all the crackheads line up for their morning fix.

I've only been to be a breakfast buffet once ,and it was Shoney's. They had chicken strips and cheese cubes for some reason at 7 in the morning. I only ate those two things then slept 8 hours completely full as my grandparents drove me back from Florida.

kek my family used to go eat the breakfast buffet at a Shoney's sometimes after church on Sundays. I always really enjoyed it, but looking back now that I'm older, I realize how bad some of that food was. Just like cheaply produced mass amounts but damn if it wasn't good.

I've only been to an upscale brunch buffet. It was about 20 dollars. Pretty pricy, but man, it had everything. Five dollar mimosas and bloody marys was pretty fucking great.
