I have a whole cookbook full of low-fat, high fiber muffins, quick breads, and desserts that use either fruit, buttermilk, or yogurt instead of oil or butter. I've tried about 10 recipes out of it already, and they've all been great.

It's also about nutrition, not just calories.

Fuck all that nonsense.

Eat the real thing and use some moderation and self control or if you can't then just don't fuck with it.

I've been really surprised at how good the recipes are, I was pretty skeptical when I bought it.

I can skip all meats on pizza, I usually prefer veggie pizza anyway. And I'm fine with whole wheat crust (although for it to really be better, you'd need whole GRAIN crust), but I cannot, will not skip cheese on my pizza. I can cut down on the amount of cheese, but there has to be some cheese on there. It's just not pizza (to me) without it.
I had my gallbladder taken out last year, and for the 2 months before my surgery, I could only eat very low fat foods (basically just vegetables, fruits, chicken, fish, and rice), and during that time, I ate thin crust vegetarian pizza with no cheese. It was miserable. It's not that it tasted bad, it was delicious, but it was more like eating flatbread with vegetables on it, or some kind of odd crostini, NOT pizza.

There was no mention of the OP being a fatass, or anyone else in this thread being a fatass. You're just reading that into it. There's a lot of slender, healthy people who don't want to eat the full fat / full carb versions of foods either. It's not about a diet, it's about changing your lifestyle, even for people who are at their average or less-than-average weight. I don't think you know anything about proper health education, yourself.

Yeah if we had proper education then maybe you idiots would stop essentially saying that nutrients don't matter and you could just drink 1500 calories a day in soda and be fine if that's your only calories. Technically the bowl of fruit and peanut products is "healthier". But eating equal amounts of each one will have the same impact on weight gain.

If you're overweight/obese you aren't healthy. Your body has to work extra hard to function, doesn't matter how much unprocessed and natural things are fueling it.

I know a few people who basically eat chips and drink cider/soda all the time. Weight around 120 (girls), Dresses look good on them obviously, flat stomachs, etc. But they are ultimate skinnyfat, everything is saggy and jiggles.
