Popular brokers for stock trading:
Robinhood

robinhood.com

> How is it free?
Robinhood earns revenue by collecting interest on cash/securities and fees from their Robinhood Gold service

> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.

> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.

Who's up today? Post ur gainz

wheres the crash

YOU SAID THERE WOULD BE A FUCKING CRASH

WHERE IS IT???

Less than 15 minutes

Shill me something less than $20 for funsies

I would have been up 15% if I didn't pussy out and sell my TVIX on friday for cheap.

I'm about 0%, KTOS has carried me through strong.

I should really just kill myself.

jcp

why is everything dipping I went all in on netflix

KTOS, GSAT, AQMS, or PLUG

nak

AUPH

I considered buying a short ^SPX ETF on friday but didn't.

I knew we are in a period in which you short on a green day and you buy on a red day.

Dat Nat Gas giving me crytpo like returns.

@BagholderExtraordinaire
I did a DCF model for AMRS, with strong revenue growth (as the management stated in his last 2 published guidances) and with R&D/SG&A expenses in moderate growth.

The NPV of the market cap is 727M (!). With the potential diluted shares outstanding of 90M, we get 8.07$ a share. 90M SO is found in an article on Cucking Alpha.

The point is, we are surely not the smartest guys on Earth, otherwise we won't be posting in Nepalese drawing board wanking off to furry porn. And we are all saying the same thing on AMRS. If it was true, some smarter guys with deep pockets would have already been on it, wouldn't he ?

Done, I was torn between this and AUPH

You took my GSAT recommendation so I'll take yours

:)

...

BOIL, LTBR, WWR

All on pretty disgusting discounts thanks to the FUD.

I slept throughout the day, what the hell happened during 3 that everything dipped?

Is it too late to get into Ktos?

Is there a version for britbongs can you use or a equivalent of robin hood, crypto fag here and wouldn't mind diversifying

No, it is most likely going to be heading for the $15 range

d-did we just get pink wojacked?

Maybe what causes the market to dip is a big name reporting weak earnings ?

If you think about it, the first dip coincided with GOOG and FB reporting lukewarm earnings.

It was related to WMT that got rekt today

I'm gonna lose all my money at this rate :(

I was so sure the bull was back with that open we had ):

>all Natgas gains wiped out by Walmart

We tried to warn you m8

Pic related

sorry bong RH is the only free broker I know of and they dont serve the UK

you'll have to pay for your trades

Wait so this whole market is red because the damn Walmart had a bad earnings? I thought it was good earnings. Why can't they just stop employing retards and get people who can actually do their job?

Anime defeated the the Dow. Disturbing.

Why the dip around 3 though?

I remember seeing walmart drop already this morning before going to sleep

Anyone here post in the everything bubble thread yesterday started by the finance bro that works in housing? Newfag here trying to get my feet wet.
You guys that know what you’re doing: is it better to invest in physical precious metals or precious metal stocks? Any water/electrical/utilities stocks you guys recommend?
Any book recommendations that teach you how to evaluate companies?
Is TDAmeritrade the go-to discount broker?
Thanks in advance anons

Canadian weed held majority of gains made by close today. Will be looking to see continuation or consolidation tomorrow, maybe buck this bear trend. It seems majority of investors are unperturbed about the minor two month delay on legal sales.

because we are in a consolidating market right now

all time highs by friday

BEAR BEAR BEAR

I only tried to look for a logic after shit happens.

It was just a wild guess by a retard.

Maybe ETFs rebalance around 3pm ?
VTI for example had a notabe dip at 3:20pm

Hey /smg/, I'm new to investing, I opened an individual brokerage account with schwab.

Right now I'm waiting for 3 grand to be transferred into my account before I can invest.

I want to go over a few companies by you guys and see what you think for investment opportunities. Just looking for your two cents.

>Ford
>AMD
>Intel
>Activision blizzard
>Nvidia
>Tesla

I'm skittish about Amazon their stock price has nearly doubled in a year which is impressive given what it was at 2017. I feel like they're going to plateau very soon, Amazon cant get keep growing, can they?

thanks for the help

I'm not trying to influence you, but are you comfortable with holding a majority in tech?

What is the time frame you're looking at. I am expecting this market to blow up on March 16th.

Trips don't lie.

im obviously going to ignore your advice but blow up in a good way or a bad way?

It's okay, Bear posters don't want advise from communists anyways, you filthy fuck.

Read the OP, Robinhood is free, but does not have the same abilities other brokers have. It is also only available on mobile, Android & IOS. There is supposed to be a web version out soon.

Investopedia (website) ain't half bad for learning basics. Tradingview is good for charts.

I generally don't invest in metals, energy, or utility, so I couldn't really help you there. I do tech & defense stocks. I avoid bio companies (pharmaceuticals) completely, I don't invest in them at all.

I'm all in on KTOS (Kratos Defense) right now. They were awarded an 81M contract by DOD announced on the 15th. NVDA is a good bet, IMO, right now.

You can make serious money playing volatility ETFs & ETNs, like TVIX & UVXY. You can also lose serious money. For example, two weeks again I had 40% gains playing TVIX when most folks were in the red. I could have just as easily lost 40% if I didn't pull out at the correct time and then panic sold.

If you are not looking to hold a long time, a few months at minimum, you need to know how much you want to make on a trade. Buy in at the price you want, and sell at a reasonable profit. Don't chase money off a cliff, and don't try to catch a falling knife.

I am by no means an expert, and you should be cautious taking my advice, or anyone else's here.

Good luck. Keep bear posting :)

I hope so. I might as well invest solely into JUST

Don't come to the Dow that Friday afternoon.

The communist part is meant for Bagholder

I'm a capitalist.

>Mar 16th
>Mar 16th
>Mar 16th

Why do I keep seeing this shit?

Beware the ides of March.

Fed meeting. Veeky Forums thinks the market is going to crash because of interest rates or whatever

Options/futures expiry date ?

i dunno lol

PEPSI YES

get Ford now that its $10
AMD never invest in that, its really bad
Activision you missd the dip
nvidia had too big of a rise recently so Id be worried about it
Tesla is shit, only for day trading
Intel is good but often times drops sharply without warning

honestly what are the chances of a new nuclear reactor being built in the next 20 years though?
the latest one built was in 1979

woah

look at that 1% moon mission

1% is fantastic when you arent a poorfag

>he doesnt leverage his trades 99x
pleb

It's literally 0% from yesterday.

SWN for utilities
AUY for gold. gold stocks are more volatile than gold, and usually go up and down with gold.

nigger, this 108 - 110 range was my buy zone
Ive been waiting all year
Im also using leverage, I expect +30% by next month

A public blockchain is a data structure made up of "blocks", things which store information. That can include, but is not limited to, transaction information.

The blocks are "linked" together in a chain by storing the hash from the previous block (Something which is found through guessing at what the appropriate inputs are for a hash function, using numbers-only-used-once, or "nounces". This is what miners are basically doing).

It's hard to modify a public blockchain because doing so would require significant control of the of the total transaction recording processing power.

It's useful for cryptocurrencies because it prevents double spending (to do so would require a large amount of transaction processing power of the network - the "51% attack", although that's only applicable for coins which use proof of work). And, it provides a public record for everyone to view confirm that a transaction, or some other event, actually took place.

Oops, didn't realize it was deleted, apologies. I was thinking of adding 'maybe you ask this in the other 1 million threads'.
