The issue is taking all your meals at a chain sandwich shop. How long are you gonna do that? How much money do you really want to spend doing this? You're just gonna lose weight and then... eat subway forever?

Subway is terrible, but if you just get a normal type of sandwich without dousing it in a high calorie sauce it's not that bad. Most fast food posters are too lazy to even get out of their car, and then come home with multiple sandwiches. It's not that difficult if you pay a little attention to calories and make an attempt to move your body around. He was also extremely obese which literally takes more money and effort than being a little overweight, so making a tiny change in your life and doing it everyday over a period of time is obviously going to make a difference. He always makes me think of high school, where it honestly would have been more of a bother to skip and not be able to do anything in pubic than it would to just half ass your homework in the 5 minutes before class started and finish 5th in your class while being high half the time.

I'm living in central TX now and I've never seen a Subway with a drive-thru (Plenty of drive-thru liquor stores though). I've also travelled pretty extensively across the U.S. and when visiting family or on long road trips where for some reason we end up at Subway I can't recall one like that.
