yep im in school with not really any close friends so far, but people who i sometimes eat with sometimes. A lot of it is mentality though, I spent a lot of the first semester thinking everyone already had friends and werent my kind of people, but then I realized I was actually the quiet and awkward one.. If this is similar to you, just be friendlier to people and try to keep up a good attitude. Doesnt hurt to smile at classmates etc/remember their names

I hope you know running/cardio is about the slowest way to lose weight. It IS good for you, but look up how many calories you burn running a mile compared to lifting/strength exercise. Even that pales in comparison to a proper diet.
