Well it does hurt more

It's true.

If you have a really sharp knife, you'll cut through things really easily so you get the job done with minimal effort.

but if you use a rather blunt (but still slightly sharp) knife, you're going to apply too much pressure to cut through something and then you risk causing an injury.

all but the dullest of knives will still cut through human flesh like nothing

dull knives have a greater propensity to slip rather than cut, and can require greater force to cut with

so yes, it is possible to be more dangerous with a dull than a sharp one. though the cuts you cause with it are probably going to be less severe unless you're pressing really hard.

This

>A sharp knife cuts what you want it to, a dull knife cuts what it wants to

>searing meat seals in the juices!

nope

This has long since been proven to be false, along with the claim that marinating meat tenderizes it. The OP claim, on the other hand, is 100% true.

>you can't say you hate something as broad as seafood
>I love seafood

Use a serrated knife, friend.

Cutting with a dull knife is like driving a car with faulty power steering which sometimes sends you careening into oncoming traffic.

>can also be dull
>better at cutting bone
>not as versatile or fast at most jobs

Dull knifes are actually dangerous. No matter how dull they are, if they slip they will cut your fingers.

Oh yeah?

It's true though.

Why is she doing that

it's the safest knife on the market

You're underage. And you just proved it.

I thought marinating with an acid does, though, especially yogurt.

Yogurt based marinades do penetrate into the meat father yes as evidenced by Heston Blumenthal's tikka masala Perfection episode.
