I have a lot of anxiety daily, and seem to have depressive episodes, where I can be suicidal for weeks and then fine for weeks. I've been made aware that it could be denationalization, but in all honesty I've always been uncomfortable talking about myself to others. I tend to wait things out and hope they get better on their own.

As someone who has always been reluctant to be completely open with anyone about mental illness, please, trust me, things will get better if you start going to therapy, seeing a psychiatrist to get on the right meds, or both.

It's hard as fuck to confide in someone else when it comes to something you bury and wait out each time it acts up or messes with how you feel or think.

The hardest thing is handing over some level of trust to another person, I still struggle with it. But, I'm better off now than I was before.
