Soylent is pretty delicious actually. Don't knock it before you try it.

Even if it was delicious I'd still knock it:

1) I don't want to eat the same thing day-in and day-out. I want variety in both taste and texture.

2) I likewise don't want to eat the same thing all the time because that would limit my ability to digest new foods when I am traveling or eating out with friends due to overspecialization of gut bacteria. (Same reason why vegetarians can get sick when they suddenly try meat after abstaining for a long time)

Even if we disregard personal preference for variety, eating only one food seems like a really poor idea.

This bugs me as well. I know he says he likes his suits in the style of the 80's and 90's, with a looser fit and longer lapels but even back then suits weren't supposed to be THAT loose. His suits really fit him horribly most of the time.

I agree, I've seen it on most popular boards. It's all about $. There are fewer and fewer places to have honest discussions with others online (even if you're communicating with individual's you completely disagree with)
