American please, Australia is one of the finest cheese producers in the world. They just don't market to America because cuck laws.

Now that you mention it, America's cuck laws don't just keep god tier Australian cheese out. They keep ALL good cheese out. They literally made it illegal to produce or sell good cheese. Every other country on earth uses the best milk available to produce their cheese, but not America. America forces cheese producers to use sub-par "non drinkable" milk, and don't even get me started on trying to use actual fresh unpasteurized milk. You simply cannot buy good cheese in America. It's against the law.

I would suggest going to the ritzy areas near you and checking out the ritzy supermarkets on the weekends. A lot of them have cheese tasting going on, some even have wine tasting

Why is it that you are so incredibly hostile and hateful to Americans? We do make excellent cheese here, and we import excellent cheese from Europe and the rest of the world. I get that it's a meme to shit on American food, but I think it gets tiresome after a while and makes discussing food seriously an uphill battle as soon as nationality or region is mentioned. I don't believe other countries seriously think that all we eat is Kraft singles.

But for me personally I joined a cheese of the month club at my local fromagerie. For 700 dollars I got 15 lbs of cheese (including some imports) as well as crackers, preserves, and a couple cured meats. Frankly if you live in the states I would not do this unless you live in wisconsin, california, or the northeast. It's expensive but it exposed me to a lot of varieties like pic related

Are Mexican cheeses (panela, Oaxaca, Chihuahua) good cheeses?

those are all basically fresh farmer's cheeses and I wouldn't really consider them "fine." Mexico does have decent cheese but it's a hot climate so aging is a tricky process and it's not like they need to store ingredients since it's basically summer year round. You ever notice how tropical/hot climates like India or the Arabian peninsula almost exclusively makes fresh cheese whereas more temperate ones like France or the UK make old stuff?

go to a cheese store. They'll let you sample as many as you'd like.

It's fun to combine great cheeses with charcuterries and spreads and olives and whatnot. IT keeps your mouth interested

Whenever I eat brie or camembert, I get rid of the rind. Even just a tiny bit ruins it for me. I can't stand the smell or taste. Most people eat the rind, but do you guys? Just out of curiosity.

These are just ones that my store carries, and we dont have that big of a focus on domestic cheeses. Cheese in America is better than ever.

It's really good. Lightly fried with olive oil, it tastes a little salty, savory, and makes a slight squeak when you bite into it similar to cheese curds.

10/10 would highly recommend with some nice olives.
