Hey Veeky Forums I'm planning on opening an ice cream and dessert shop next season so I wanted to ask you guys the one flavor you'd like to see if you walked in. Emulation of flavors or combinations you can get at the store is fine as well.

Deep Dish Pizza

lavender/earl grey op get the hipsters in

Vanilla ice cream

apple and mint

creme brulee
Pistachio
Mint chocolate
Anything that has veins of another flavor is good and not mixed in, I had a peanut butter chocolate one a while ago and it was all mixed and didn't really taste like peanuts.

ramen

...

vanilla bean and cookie dough

Nutella
Lemon Pie
Passion Fruit

Plain. I've always wanted to taste plain icecream. Not vanilla, plain.

You know. Milk, cream, and sugar.

Superman.

It's impossible to find outside of northern Michigan.

Salty milk and coins

Interestingly enough they just call that 'sweet cream ice cream'
To be honest I've never had it so you'd have to describe the flavor. is it just all x flavor but colored differently or every color is different flavor?
Wouldn't you rather sour pennies user?

Once got some milk ice cream in Italie, could be nostalgia but i still remember it being the best i've ever had.

Hazelnut
Butter pecan
Earl Grey

>one flavor you'd like to see
Just give me all the flavours.

Baileys/Irish Cream
Panna cotta
Rum and raisin
Dulce de leche
If sorbets, blood orange

Parna violet

*parma

Surprised I haven't seen anyone say coffee. That's my go to, especially since it plays nice with everything chocolate is good with.

if you dont have a coffee flavor im not coming

Salted egg yolk

Violet gum is seriously good shit.

...

Black cherry with dark chocolate shavings
Strawberry with fudge swirl
Lemon italian ice

Can you get this in the UK? Ive never noticed it

My faves from a place I visited in Bath, England were Shortbread, and Ginger. Super fucking good yo.

matcha

and hazelnut

(two separate flavours, not togehter0

ALso,
1) Mango Flavor
2) Coffee
3) A good pistachio

I fucking love this shit

>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dioscorea_alata
you mean taro, you fucking faggot?

no I meant ube.

I haven't had taro ice cream, or anything for that matter

dude, fuck off before I report you

Swiss orange chocolate chip

How do you plan to compete with the likes of Baskin Robbins?

There's only 1 baskin robbins in my general area, biggest competitor would actually be a regional franchise but idea is to push the idea of 'made from scratch' or 'homemade' along with interesting flavors and competitive pricing.

mascarpone and fig was a really good flavor i once had

that does sound good

1.) Plain mint (without chocolate flakes/chips)
2.) Chocolate Strawberry swirl!
3.) Lemon?

apple pie soft serve

it's deadly

Doing hardpack ice cream, not soft serve, but apple pie ice cream could work

peanut butter

Mochi green tea!

Plain mint seconded

Chocolate, Strawberry, Olive Oil

Blueberry cheesecake
Nutella smores
baklava

ginger would be good

Rainbow sherbet

>Shortbread
So something like biscoff or was the shortbread and ginger together?

I'll give you top three in order of what would impress me/make me happiest
1. Green tea
2. Watermelon
3. Pistachio

Taro. I've only seen it as frozen yogurt, it's really delicious. Very unusual.

chocolate-shiitake mushroom-bonito dashi-cardamom-cloves

>2. Watermelon

OP, only if you open your ice cream counter in an area of town where you'll also need to keep a shotgun behind the counter.

Do yourself a favor and expand your offering with a sno-ball machine and some home made syrups. Its cheaper than ice cream and you'll make bank if you can provide a finer shave than those hawaiian ice HFCS retards.

Dunno about shaved ice but Italian ice would be do-able without requiring extra equipment though i guess it's not the same.

You should do frozen custard, its by far the best of the frozen ice cream like desserts

i love ube stuff. glad i live near a filipino bakery.

my suggestions:

>rose
>violet
>orange with chocolate swirls
>lemon with blueberry swirls
>cake batter
>beer (had a shiner bock flavored ice cream once that was great)
>sweet corn
>green tea cookies & cream

Avocado

Rose

Raspberry White Chocolate Cheesecake, or Mousse Cake.

Try making a frozen peanut butter with chocolate chip ice cream

So PB ice cream with chocolate chips?

Pumpkin and spice

matcha / green tea flavor

this actually. You could probably get some good business by falling for the meme ice cream train.

Wine flavored ice cream might be a'ight

>Tonka bean with salty caramel swirls
>Lemon with blueberry swirls
>Plain lemon
>Seabuckthorn
>Pear with bluecheese swirls
>Dark and rich chocolate
>Mango
>Strawberry
>Vanilla

pinot grigio white chocolate

you're definitely gonna wanna have meme stuff like this (maybe do red bean/anko as well), as well as things that nobody is doing in order to stand out. have persimmon flavor or some shit

grape

Coffee is a must have basic but branching off of that is great too. You should consider doing a mocha chip.

Vegemite and caramel is a must. It's like salted caramel with an Australian twist that could draw in some crowds.
I like vegemite on plain vanilla ice cream but that might be boring for some. Try it tho.

you people are disgusting. My fraternity made us eat these as part of a hell week activity.

Carbonara

peach
chocolate peanut butter

good offbeat flavors:

pistachio honey
coffee
watermelon
pawpaw
pumpkin spice
Aztec chocolate (xocolatl)
hydrox
blueberry pancake
maple with waffle bits
pecan bourbon
baklava
green tea

if you're in a hipster part of town and want my random ideas to distinguish yourself from the competition:

scotch
goat milk vanilla / strawberry (for lactose intolerant people)
squid ink
sunflower butter
tahini with sesame seeds
communion (cabernet with bits of wafer crumbled in)
kefir with protein powder in it
sriracha
tobacco? is that possible?

I like the webm, what is pawpaw exactly?

a magical fruit from the South that's only exists for about a few days before it falls off the tree.

tastes like a banana and a mango

Combination of mascarpone, vanilla and lemon curd swirl. Meringues optional.

>matcha
>coffee
>cookie dough
>melon
>chocolate caramel

Baklava sounds great, how come i've seen it as an icecream flavor before?

I'm assuming you meant "never seen it"?

IMHO it seems kinda odd. The whole point of Baklava, to me, is the texture. That would be lost in an ice cream.

I've seen it at Safeway before, and I had baklava frozen yogurt once

>olive oil
Fuck off Jaime.

Strawberry. Preferably with chunks of real strawberry.

sherbert

Hi, I didn't expect a reply. It was two seperate flavors, but I got them on one cone like a mad lad. The shortbread tasted like a really original cookie dough flavor but with shortbread pieces. The ginger was like a creamy ginger ale in ice cream form with ginger flakes added.

It was so good I ate all six scoops. Call me fat idgaf I was on vacation.

interesting

>Vanilla
>Cookie dough
>Coconut
But without the shit fibrous bits that are indigestible, unchewable, throat clogging garbage. They get stuck in your teeth too. Fuck that shit.
>A mild caramelly chocolate flavour with a hint of coffee
Most chocolate ice cream is too rich and cloying

On that train of thought, I also had a banana toffee (banofee as they called it) sundae at a pub that was better than my dinner.

Dark chocolate Pinot noir

God-tier flavours.

raspberry with a dark chocolate cone

the decision to buy ice cream is usually an impulsive one.

Try to get customers like me with good presentation and gimmicky shit like homemade unique cones

...

Everyone says coffee, and there's a few variations like with Irish cream, pumpkin spice, and carmel.

What I really want is a marshmallow flavored ice cream with chocolate fudge swirled in with graham cracker dough chunks. The closest that I've found is fireside s'mores by tillamook. And the dough chunks are what makes it. Dry pieces get depended by the flavor.

Or something along the lines of pick related, marshmallow ice cream with graham crackers, dipped in chocolate.

Also god-tier

That pic would get so messy as soon as you bit into it.
