I don't think nvidia hinges on mining as much as you think they do, the current largest entertainment industry (Hollywood) and the biggest emerging entertainment industry (videogaming) both hinge on the advancement and production of GPU, a trend I noticed years ago. They are even branching into auto-tech industry. NVDA has been growing nicely even before mining ramped up gpu consumption
