Cacio e pepe

Cacio e pepe.

>plain spaghetti
Stop being a pretentious twat.

Carbo 'nara

WA LA

>Ketchup is a valid Pomodoro sauce

Who are you quoting?

>go eat a dick dumbass

How this shit is done?

His mother. is how she woke him up when she visited him in the basement this week, for example.

Cacio e pepe is literally cheese and pepper, make pasta put in hot pan near the end, put in water used to cook pasta with and throw in some peppre and an appropiate cheese.

Cabronara do the same but take it off the heat and add in a mix of beaten eggs, three small/medium eggs per two people seems to be a good ratio.

Literally it.

Real carbonara dude.
Pancetta, Spaghetti, cream and maybe some parsley.
Fry the pancetta (you can add crushed garlic), boil the pasta. Add cream and heat through.
Garnish with the parsley and maybe some black pepper.
It's a very old classic recipe that has stood the test of time.

>pancetta
>not prosciutto
pleb

>cream instead of egg
>parsely
triple pleb

That's a pretty rare pepe

Don't blame me, it's the original recipe.

>cream
>pancetta
>parsley

Confirmed for medallion-wearing, hairy, fat New Yorker that puts one sauce on all pasta.

No it's not, cream and parsely is your brainfart

No, it is not. It's eggs, cheese and a highly seasoned pork product. No garlic, no parsley, no cream, no milk, no onions.

There's nothing to stop you putting it in when you make it yourself, but it will not be a Roman Carbanara it will be a bastardized, creamy mess of an American carbanara.

I always put some mushroom and peas aswell in my authentic italian style 'nara, really goes well with the creamy sauce

...

Epic macro, friend. May I save it?

No! I don't want to have to find it and download it again.

is that truffles? i love those

who where is using proscuitto instead of pancetta in carbonara??
every carbonara recipe ever is pancetta

you right about the egg/cream tho

Prosciutto is basically just higher quality pancetta when it comes to most recipes that include them.

I've been to Italy and eaten it that way anyway.

They're very different.

Pancetta is made from the belly of the pig whereas prosciutto is the ham (leg). Thus pancetta is much more fatty than prosciutto is.

pepe?

basically pancetta is bacon
proscuitto i like and buy is air-dried beef

I know the difference, I'm talking about their use.

I'm not American and anyway this recipe came from Europe and is dated around 1899.

So you're saying it is just past 100 years old?! A whole 100 years of lineage?!

It would appear so.

Bait or retard?

Source?

Carbonara was invented post Second World War so I doubt that

...

Whats THE easiest pasta sauce to make?
Like something that would take 2 minutes to be finished including prep.
My go to is just olive oil and black pepper. Kinda depressing but does the job

at that point just use something canned

marcella hazan's tomato butter sauce

Nah they contain a shit ton of sugar and whatnot
Healthy > taste

So get something that doesn't, durrr

You aren't very smart

That would be you. If you only thought for a few seconds we wouldn't be here.
