for those wondering about the paining
August Schenck spent most of his career in France, specialising in painting landscapes and animal subjects. For over thirty years he was a regular exhibitor at the Paris Salons, where Anguish was first shown in 1878. In Anguish, Schenck has given the ewe clearly recognisable human characteristics, such as determination and sorrow, so that the viewer immediately identifies with its predicament and emotions. The sinister murder of crows also appear organised and patiently await a moment of weakness. Schenck is here metaphorically examining a broader human condition in the context of an animal painting.

How can you just go around like that and lead people to believe the correct thing to do is to just give up their rights? Are you trying to influence historians of the future to write about how a group of people was able to take ultimate freedom via decree and gave them selves a chance of self governing for the people and by the people. Born only through a rejection of despotism, but only to embrace what their ancestors fought to free them selves of in the first place. Tell me would you rather live at the start of Rome or the apex of the civilization? Are we at the apex of our current civilization or are we witnessing the collapse of our own from within? I don't think I can take it anymore!

very little in the way of good news. slipping sales, slipping margins, slipping profits. management again, embarrassingly, blames the weather for their poor performance. nothing here is catastrophic though. dividends and stock buybacks remain in place management highlighted sales strengths in non-winter goods. I expect the price to slip 2% after hours.

Looking at the bond yield is a pretty good way to see how the market will react. Bond yields up=Stock market down.
Joseph Davis
>implying the damn market can't go up forever.
Carson Jackson
MoMmY
Julian Ross
The bond market is magnitudes larger than the stock market. Market analysts are saying bond yields are about to reverse a 40 year trend of going down. If interest gained on bonds go up then the money that went into the stock market will flow into the bond market and cause a stock market downtrend. This is just the beginning. Fed rate hike in March will cause another huge drop and begin a bear market.
Elijah Garcia
Oh it’s a forecast. Thanks! I’ll pump even more money into it when there’s a slight dip.
Dominic Powell

short tu, the two year note future (zt on ib)
If the fed is in front the curve will invert and long bond shorts will be left short the most in demand assets
Landon Smith
I just have an idea that may be retarded but I will say it anyway
Bonds are in an obvious bear market because the FED is raising the rates and the US government is on a deficit binge
But although if the rates are rising, the government spending will actually inject money into the economy, maintaining company's (and people's) incomes.
Since rates are rising, that should curb the desire to borrow and existing debts will be slowly paid off.
Maybe Trump is trying to slowly and quietly deleverage the economy ?
Christian Wilson
Thats good right?
Nicholas Nelson
That would be the ideal scenario since the amount of debt is huge
Sluggish growth is usually expected or such a scenario
That must be the reason why Trump passed his tax reform so that companies can maintain their earning level, reinvest and enhance productivity
Who here comfy for BGFV conference call ?
Jason Russell
You've got your finger close to the pulse, but the one huge missing piece. The commodities are going to be in a bull market because of inflation and devaluation of the USD.
Robert Richardson
What could possibly be comfy about the BGFV conference call?
Justin Evans
ask them about the moon mission and if they have plans on a special line of lunar sports products.
Noah Brooks
Thanks for that
So long oil, rocks and such ?
I am an europoor But one thing I would suggest is to use the power of memes and cryptocurrencies to boost sales
Jackson Wilson
energy is a fickle market and I wouldn't make any assumptions, but yellow rocks would be a good buy.
David Turner
Yes, as for oil, we may be shifting paradigm because of EV and AMRS meme (which will unironically lessen the need for oil to synthetize some chemicals)
I am a noob so I don't trade commodities futures
But what sectors are to look at that would ride this inflation wave ?
Staples ? Consumer goods ? Utilities ? or ? Or maybe look into markets biased towards ressource exports (like Russia, Australia) ?
Grayson Jones
fucking AMRS fags fucking up the thread again
