Anyone else put mayo on everything? Any other kind of sauce, spice or ingredient?

Anyone else put mayo on everything? Any other kind of sauce, spice or ingredient?

Mayo is good, just not that jap shit.

I'm not that bothered about which kind it is, but I am a fan of Hellmann's. As long as it's mayo I'd probably eat it.

Mayo is good, but Kewpie is disgusting.
Too much vinegar, or lemon, or something.
It's so sour I feel like it would be impossible to tell if it's spoiled.

>Hellmanns

East coast pleb detected.

Kewpie is really pricey over here, it's about 6 pounds ($7.85) for a small bottle. I'm sure it's because it's imported and everything but I still don't think it's worth the price tag.

Hellmans is good, but you have to realize that homemade is best as you can tune it to your tastes. Plus with a stick blender you can make mayo in 3 minutes from crave to clean dishes.

I heard the Japs put mayo on everything now, including sushi

Of course!

Nah, that's just a western stereotype.
It's not particularly popular here really.

Mustard. I really like mustard. I honestly like mustard more than ketchup on fries, even the yellow stuff that is basically just vinegar.

It's got ajinomoto (MSG) in it.
Shits good m8!

paprika goes in all fields

also onions

my nigga

Don't know how it compares to Burgerland but yeah, they even put mayo on fucking pizza.

I put paprika on nearly everything I cook yet I can't really taste it

I used to use mayo a lot
But I've curbed it since I started gaining weight

Well, there's always aioli, which is just mayo, some garlic, and whatever herbs or spices are added.

This. It's only ever used for color.

try smoked paprika, it has a very good savory flavor to round out salty/spicy dishes

I used to put mayo on everything (not literally), but once I turned 30 my metabolism (and activity level) turned to shit.

>Anyone else put mayo on everything?
Nitou, what are you doing here?

Why are Asians so fabulous all the time?

dude i fucking love kewpie mayo

also dukes

but i dont eat a lot of mayo these days

...

dear americunts please put mayo on your fries
that fucking cheese whiz is disgusting

sincerely a europoor

>cheese whiz
what did he mean by this?

Mayo on fries is probably more common in America than cheese whiz on fries.

It's processed cheese.

american mayo and europ mayo are different taste/consistency m8

is that so? stayed in illinois for a couple of months and almost exclusively had them served with either cheese or ketchup

Even in Europe mayo consistency and ingredients vary. Dutch mayo is GOAT

It's definitely more prevalent in the mid-west.

ok I figured it would be similar in the rest of the country
well good to know its not

Nope.

I have never had nondescript fries with cheese whiz. Cheese on fries only seen when mixed with other toppings.

>dutch
>hate mayo
>THEY PUT MAYO ON FUCKING EVERYTHING HERE
Fuck mayo and everyone who likes it

>kewpie
>sour
what... planet are you from? I love it cuz western mayo is too sour/tangy for anything other than sandwiches.

It's a flyover thing.

me too, pic related is the best I've tried, but it's a bit expensive since it's imported

*forgot pic.

lol

>not making your own mustard

I rather like dijon but I think my favorite is the deli ones where the mustard seeds are only partly ground. Adds some nice texture imo.

I should honestly it seems insanely easy.

Mayo is disgusting and mostly likely causes homosexuality.

You're thinking of gayo.

no

>Nah, that's just a western stereotype.
It's not particularly popular here really.
That's literally the opposite to every japanese/korean run in I've had. the fuckers even have mayo flavoured chips/snacks.

Western mayo apart from some specialist gourmet mayos are too oily and/or sweet and generally shit. Jap mayos taste so much better.

I fucks with mayo only because I know the best brand. Also because I learned the food hack of subbing mayo for butter when doing grilled cheese or quesadillas
Oh, and it only works as a condiment with steak fries or crinkle cut, you still get a decent balance of potato and salt

real mayo tastes like duck semen

I only eat miracle whip.
>but that's not actual mayo

Yes, I know.

>Be 9 years old
>helping mom shop
>"Can you get the mayonaisse for me"
>Goto the condiment aisle and pick up the Hellman's like what we always get
>Notice that a Duke's of the same size is 50% cheaper
>Looks similar, so I pick it up
>Get a 5 minute long speech about how disgusting Duke's is, how its so cheap because its terrible, and they have resorted to using similar colors and labeling into tricking people into getting it

>tfw this is the cheapest mayo in my supermarket and also the best tasting
shit feels good when the stars align, user

my nigga

Kewpie is the best because it has delicious MSG.

Hellmans is the standard for Hawaiian pasta salad.

Habanero hot sauce on almost any meal I eat.

Mayo. Taste. No good.

i like rhode island on my fish sticks, rice+sausage and chicken salad.

dukes or weeb mayo for me, hellmans is garbage and I grew up on that shit.

Def the best mayo I've ever had living in the South and New England, although you can't get it in New England from what I've seen.

Anyone else put mayo on everything?

Way to redneck. What's next, ranch on everything?

Believe me it's a very different story in Japan.
Don't believe a bunch of westaboos.

Nope. But I know how to cook. The only thing that goes on damn near everything. is salt and pepper. Stop using shit that hides your foods flavor, and learn to season to accentuate.

i always put mild yoghurt on everything and i've been doing ever since i was a kid

That seems really disgusting and bland.
I'd rather go for a Mayo based sauce for fries like a remoulade.

I don't know what you're talking about my Japanese wife puts mayo on everything. I think you are bullshitting

They put it on their version of spaghetti. Bretty gud.

You lyin mother fucker I've been here for 3 years and it's served with everything or added most steak houses have it on the table with added horse faddish or wasabi so stfu

been between california and colorado my whole life, literally have only seen cheeze wiz in animated form in the goofy movie. literally not even in stores (probably, but just haven't been looking in the right places)

mayo on fries is great in principle, most fry sauces are based on mayo, but needs more acidity somehow --> tartar sauce, ranch, Freddy's Fry Sauce, etc.

I put ranch on everything and that's basically just pimped out mayo.

It's pretty popular, but nothing nutty like on most sushi or something

Of course some sushi has it but its like designer sushi if making sense

We (I) use it for salads a lot.
