Post a meal you cooked

Post a meal you cooked

Fuck me, that shit looks nasty

You didn't actually eat any of that, did you?

Also, god damn, chop sticks? 3rd world as fuck. I'm surprised you can get internet in the jungle, nguyen.

It was alright

these philly steak rolls were pretty good

These look great

idc im a broke ass college student cooking out of my dorm and you are all apparently 3* chefs

10/10
would eat

...

what kind of sausage?

Looks like some nice beans, lad. I love stewed beans with onions, peppers, and sausage. If that would provide all the nutrients I need, I'd eat my own red beans and rice for the rest of eternity.

this chili had favorable reviews

better pic, ignore my poverty paper bowls

andouille

try some feijoada if you like red beans and rice. easy and cheap af was a peasant food down there.

Fell for that quinoa meme

...

Use amaranth instead, it tastes the same and has the same nutrients but it's about half the price.

>stripes of unmixed sriracha
>la croix memewater
>quinoa

just no

This looks really good desu

I don't think I've ever eaten whole chickpeas, are they good boiled?

They're alright

has better nutrients

living the meme

rice looks like it could use sauce of some savory sort

>mfw i thought the middle bowl was chicken
>then i realized that wasnt huge globs of fat, it was cabbage
>then i realized there was way more cabbage than i thought
>mfw i realized the whole bowl is cabbage

that's a lot of cabbage, user

>cheese

Looks like theres more onion than meat

...

>when people buy expensive things and then call it poverty

WWhat is that?

here's their guts

>bowls are 4-5 cents each
>expensive

You can buy actual bowls you don't throw away after every use for not much more at any second hand store. There is nothing cheap about disposable dishes.

>paying for dish soap
>paying for electricity for hot water
>taking time to wash dishes to potentially save literally single digits of pennies per day

why

It was my first attempt at a fritatta. I used dill, cherry tomatoes, some onion, and I didn't have any parmesan at the time so I used little dollops of boursin herb cream cheese on top. It was actually really good. I am doing another one tomorrow with basil, mushrooms, red peppers and parmesan.

I don't know if that's a pizza or something else, but that looks ab-so-lute-ly delicious.

Thank you

See

...

What is all that?

You sound like the kind of person who buys McDonalds for every meal because spices and a big bag of rice are too big of an investment.

All famers market ingredients (except the meat and cheese)

Lazy seafood stir-fry

milk
cottage cheese
raspberries (my mom will freeze them and give me a ton because they're good)
some kind of whole turkey shit i baked in the oven and have way too much leftovers of so i roll them up in tortillas
and then some rice broccoli shit i threw together that came out pretty good with sriracha on top

clean bulk life

The bell pepper looks uncooked. I think you are supposed to cook them.

Yeah, I just put some of the water the chickpeas cooked in on it.

Stuffed peppers are awesome.

Oh Ok. Looks good. Like the, what i assume are, bell peppers. 10/10

Yeah, I fucked up.

Here's some curry instead.

Is that egg on rice? Maybe use less than a jumbo egg per bowl next time.

...

thanks bro. the red is bell pepper, the green is jalapeno

...

this is very aesthetically pleasing, but it seems like a lot of tomato to put in your mouth at once.

>made orange-ginger chicken stir fry
>first time I ever cooked for myself
>parents made fun of me relentlessly because they are retards who only eat fast food
>dad started laughing at me for mixing orange juice with soy sauce
>he calls soy sauce 'ching chong champagne'
>tfw I enjoyed it at least
>tfw they opress me by never letting me cook and always insisting on fast food, frozen food, or steak that has been burnt to a crisp in 100g of butter

One bite at a time senpai.

Filet, baked mac, broccoli, mushrooms.

can't go wrong with macaroni/ham/cheese/eggs + mayo

Is there cream cheese in the rice broccoli. or were you just using the container for some reason?

...

:(

ridiculous white bean sandwich

i thought that was a frozen pizza for a second

had leftover pizza dough so I made breakfast calzones

so much omnomnnom

OJ kick 01

OJ kick 02

>Broccoli arranged in a rectangle
>rectangular filet
>square mac n cheese
>mushrooms & plate not a square or rectangle

Almost, user.

I guess I can post a few.

...

Quiche?

Are those onions or leeks in that? It looks pretty tasty, but if my life depended on pronouncing it, I'd be dead.

Yes

Leek, potatoes, and spinach.

just using the container. i was planning on having leftovers and i use that as a leftovers container so i thought why not just put it in there as a serving bowl now

That looks really good user

crispy tofu with onion and water chestnut over rice. really goddamned fucking good. garlic and ginger too. holy fuck this is good.

Closeup of this. first time making it. i didnt know tofu could be delicious. also put a hardboiled egg in the salad.

man i got to start putting leaves on the shit i cook. good job man

>hytteost

looks gud user

Today

Chicken, mushroom, spaghetti, parsely? Maybe some olive oil?

Did I miss anything? Looks good.

Overcooked the egg and was disappointed with myself, but otherwise a solid meal

The steak was probably the low point of the dish (cheapo steak I normally use for like stir frys) but the sauce was good and the brussel sprouts and potatoes were tossed in a great vinegarette

im gonna have to start taking pics of my food, because most of these are shit.

i dig this just for the spread

the rest of you, shame. if this threads still up in a few days, ill post back. but seriously, none of these look good. i always thought i was in the presence of talent

Yours is probably shit.

I made these bell peppers stuffed with chorizo and cream cheese mixture

>tfw keto

disgusting

Keep going lad you'll make it.

baked oysters. ate 2 raw.

Looks decent. I'd eat it.

keep going user, just because your parents are losers doesn't mean you have to be.

did you bake the bread?

...

Yeah, it was spicy cabbage

It was pumpkin and rice porridge, no egg

This looks monstrous, but would eat.

Looks decent

This curry looks a bit watery. Was it nice?

Spot on, mate. I put a bit too much black pepper but otherwise was good.
Italians like to boil (? Dunno the correct term) their mushrooms in white wine until the wine is gone, but I didn't do any of that now.

Oh and I also used an onion, yeah.

they aren't very good they have an outer skin to them that makes them hold up to boiling quite nicely but gets stuck in your teeth like corn it's a weird unpleasant texture. they definitely need a really savory seasoning to counter them.

I quite like them. I remove the skin by just rubbing them off while rinsing them in a colander. It is a bit annoying though.

Chicken and Papaya Wok

Not exactly a meal, but it's New Zealand smoked salmon on French bread with cream cheese topped with caviar
