I don't get it. I don't watch children cartoons.

...

Does that book even exist? Google Christam Borgannes, get nothing

yeah I didn't get it either. Maybe it means the book seemed juvenile? Looks like an emo teen girl.

> I don't watch children cartoons.

But you still felt the need to post and let others know you don't, which tells me you're hardly more mature than those who do.

And post in on Veeky Forums to boot.

You are posting on a chinese finger painting reddit clone.

>You're immature for watching cartoons
Fucking kek

i fucking love this one.

novus ordo seclorum means "new order of the era/age". nothing about secular. asshats.

>seinfeld
Nice, accurate

I think that everybody on this board had the exact same experience and exactly the same reaction,

...

Really? How hard did you look?

I thinks its saying the guy was basically an autistic neet sperg.

Was it a good film? :^)

great book

So he cleans a lot, eh?

Corn = Wheat.

I don't get it. Does he just describe/name places, rather than going into their actual history?

There is a lot of description in the first chapters.

welcome to Veeky Forums

he describes himself doing loads of mundane tasks. and he does it beautifully.

I'm absolutely laughing my ass off at the absurdity of this image. Anyone with even the faintest knowledge of history would know that the "corn" that Caesar speaks of in Commentaries On The Gallic War is not the corn that we in the west are familiar with, but is rather a poor translation for the word "grain" which in Latin is "Frumentum"

Myself and many others who have read the commentaries would know what you're trying to refer to with your image but it's wrong. Unless of course you were already aware of this and you are posting this ironically. In which case I commend you for your post but it's still blatantly wrong. I would have gone with a collage of images of wheat instead.

7/10

He speculates a lot about geography and the formation of natural features. He talks about the Nile for about 40 pages.

You're a fuckin' retard, pal.

welcome to Veeky Forums

everyone look! he actually took it! ahahahaha

>"I was only pretending to be retarded!"

top kek

>implying i posted that copypaste

neck yourself

Exactly what I got.

woah user that feeling was strong

see ya user

Herodotus combines history with geography, ethnography, and anthropology. His main thesis is that culture determines history.

true desu

so, the underground man was actually the underground girl?

Does anyone have the what I expected/got for this book?

Where it's the book/viking/homosex

Get the fuck out fagot

Except the ones that started with the greek.

It disturbs me that there are people autistic enough to unironically go through the effort of making images like that.

you are aware that you are on Veeky Forums right? even though its gotten bigger in recent years its still like a half step removed from stormfront in terms of how deviant the userbase is. that level of autism is to be celebrated here

...

skim it, get to
>Veeky Forums operates off this same idea. The main userbase are "People who enjoy anime".
stopped reading right there, this is retarded, take this weebshit and go back to /a/ "le olde fagge" or whatever you think you are

>muh special autism clubhouse

/pol/ is way more deviant than stormfront

stormfront won't let you swear or use racial slurs iirc. The users are fairly polite to each other and use smileys unironically. I doubt there's as much pornography and cuck baiting. /pol/ are degenerate nazis in my opinion. More like Dylan Klebold than Tim McVeigh.

>getting this triggered

My senior year in AP Lit my friends and I made Heart of Darkness into a movie. It was complete fucking shit and hardly followed the plot at all but my god it's hilarious. At one point my 9 year old brother (who we painted black face) came out of a curtain to say "Mista Kurtz, he dead." Lmao we had a black girl in the class who didn't even mind. The teacher asked if he could show his other classes and no one even cared. Love Heart of Darkness though.

>projecting this hard

Is there any advantages of having taken AP english classes in high school other than the pure self discipline of it? I just took the regular level and scored high in it.

>Top kek

Well I've never gotten less than a 95% score on anything I've ever taken so I'm not the guy to ask. I suppose I can see how it would be easier in the sense of "I'm smart and can do better work when surrounded by other smart people" maybe. Don't know though.

>implying it takes long to make such an image,

it disturbs me that there are people that go to an anime website like Veeky Forums and then make fun / complain about anime

this is why I'll probably never read Stirner.
regardless of the philosophy's inherent value, I'll just think of you shitheads the whole time.

Maybe not long by hopeless autist standards, sure.

>Veeky Forums
>anime website

lel

i mean it's not that confusing, especially if you just sort of enjoy it. it's more fun on rereading i think because i wasn't trying to figure out a mystery that i now know doesn't resolve. it also helps to read it quickly, like in one sitting.

*slow claps*

*steps out of the shadows*

Heh... not bad, kid. Not bad at all. Your meme, I mean. It's not bad. A good first attempt. It's plenty dank... I can tell it's got some thought behind it... lots of quotable material...

But memeing isn't all sunshine and rainbows, kid. You're skilled... that much I can tell. But do you have what it takes to be a Memester? To join those esteemed meme ranks? To call yourself a member of the Ruseman's Corps? Memeing takes talent, that much is true. But more than that it takes heart. The world-class Memesters - I mean the big guys, like Johnny Hammersticks and Billy Kuahana - they're out there day and night, burning the midnight meme-oil, working tirelessly to craft that next big meme.

And you know what, kid? 99 times out of a hundred, that new meme fails. Someone dismisses it as bait, or says it's "tryhard," or ignores it as they copy/paste the latest shitpost copypasta dreamt up by those sorry excuses for cut-rate memers over at reddit. The Meme Game is rough, kid, and I don't just mean the one you just lost :^). It's a rough business, and for every artisan meme you craft in your meme bakery, some cocksucker at 9gag has a picture of a duck or some shit that a million different Johnny No-Names will attach a milion different captions to. Chin up, kid. Don't get all mopey on me. You've got skill. You've got talent. You just need to show your drive.

See you on the boards...

i just preferred the books we read in the ap class as opposed to the regular class.
passing the ap test also tested me out of entry level english at my college, but i ended up taking the entry level shakespeare class anyway so.

basically all my educational decisions have not been advantageous in the "ReAl WoRld" or whatever

Its expected that the students can work at a higher level so you'll be able to have better class discussions and such

I think this is a sort of a Tlon Uqbar Orbus Tertius scenario.

...

I understood the novel but the "what I got" is pretty right cause Oedipa is completely confused throughout the novel searching

Why do you frecuent a forum of romantics of anime like Veeky Forums?? Like whats the point of your post, idiot.
If like you are heterosexual but you go to homosexual sex porn videos websites and comment "guys hmm i dont get it im not gay i can't fap for this :/ XD"?

There's almost no brown people.

Its annoying that people post chinese cartoons in Facebook derivatives. I don't get why they don't stay on Veeky Forums when its more their crowd

Pic related: one such person

It's more annoying that newfags come to Veeky Forums and shittalk cartoons.

I don't get it because I don't read nerd books.
Checkmate!

...

nah

Here I fixed it for you

And far more annoying when they start posting about their Facebook feed.

...

...

Yep. Same underlying belief that references are inherently worthwhile, much like Family Guy.

I'm like 90% sure these people are just joking.

>not appreciating allusions
Sure, Joyce is laborious and crams a lot of stuff in there, but you have to know the work to which is alluded, and an annotated version can easily be misleading

Othello was a fucking moron.
