Fun fact, this cover was seen as really controversial by the Japanese because the illustrator was not Japanese himself.
Weird, I didn't know the Japanese were so defensive over their cartoons.
Veeky Forums, can you guess what famous work this anime-styled drawing is supposed to represent?

I always knew Gene Wolfe was a weeb.
That orange coat lining look familiar.
Is it Harry potter and the Sorcerer's Stone?
Here's one of my favorite romance novel adaptations for comics. Heroine here looks like she took too much happy pills.

Cosette has always been supposed to be cute.
Eponine on the other hand...
I did. Alice is very cute
It is.
>blonde Cosette

They already made her blonde since forever.
even by light novels standards hunger games is trash
Nah, LN is bad while Hunger Games is just meh.
You can't really generalize it like that. Whilst most LNs are indeed trash, there are a few really great ones as well.
Such as?
N-no pleb.
>Eastern manga
check'd
>manga of any kind
Zaregoto and A Simple Survey are fairly bizarre but nice works. Fate/Zero and Rokka no Yuusha are also fairly good LNs. Also Narita's and Kawakami's works, while lacking in any real depth, have great characters and stories with lots of sheer entertainment value. Be mindful though that most of these stories have terrible translations if any translations whatsoever.
Also nice trips.
Yeah son, you get it.
