Dore is amazing. I have a print of "Satan enters the garden of Eden as a serpent" on my wall. Not sure if that's the real title.. Anyway here's some N. C. Wyeth.

whew lad

the Rime is great source material for artwork

I tried quite hard to find them a while ago and just couldn't. It was some adaptation of the King Arthur story with these fucking gorgeous pencil drawings - you know the really detailed kind. But I just couldn't find them or even manage to identify the actual book they were from. I read it as a kid some time in the late '80s and we'd had the book for a few years, but I can't even remember the name.

So anyway: don't have them, but some fucking excellent penciled Arthurian illustrations. They're my favourite. Lost now, like dust in the wind.
