Looks like June and July will be packed with launches
Will Musk be the god-emperor?
Who is the guy in the middle of that picture anyway?
Jeff Bezos
it will blow up screencap this
kek. makes sense
>inb4 launch postponed
>Be richer than Musk
>Still Make less of an impact
When will he kill himself?
His own space project Blue Origin is doing a lot of good things. New Shepard with custom engines for suborbital tourism, and designing engines for ULA's next generation Vulcan launcher.
Amazon itself may last a while. What else does Bezos invest in?
SpaceX is settling in to a three week launch cadence. If all goes well, the Vandenberg range opens up again, and they start using the old Shuttle launch pad after the Falcon Heavy debut, they can retire a lot of their backlog this year.
Isn't vandenberg just for polar launches? How many of those would people even want...
The BE-4 should be ready for 2019, so I think he might go straight for a big rocket.
Im looking forward to more news regarding that engine.
bezos wants to do real space colonies and not send lunatics to die on mars
i think he'll have the last laugh really
>send lunatics to die on mars
Thats MarsOne, not SpaceX
The raptor is gonna be better than the BE-4 anyways
bezos btfo
2 hours 13 minutes
BE-4 will be simpler and cost less and will be ready before Raptor. BlueOrigin has found a way to simplify the full flow gas engine concept.
However I dont think he can catch up to spacex as long as Musk lives.
You got any links? I've been struggling to find any recent writing about both the Raptor and the BE-4
be-4 will be full flow?
It'll fail

are they talking landing this time?
5 MINUTES
Look at the time bar at the bottom of the picture.
Yes.
why are we getting hyped over this when it's like the fifth time they do it
FOUR.... THREE... TWO... ONE...

People like you got the final Apollo missions cancelled
Why do people watch NASCAR when it's just a bunch of cars going in circles?
a fag wouldnt understand
holy fuck boys any second now

It's like waiting for food to warm in the microwave now.
WE DID IT REDDIT
wtf is going on?
rocket is going off
I mean with the fucking timer
ABSOLUTELY NOMINAL
because they are retarded
The republicans canceled the Apollo missions.
Fucking politics
I like how while the rocket is going straight up, the kerbal diagram shows the fall-over curve slowly growing.
>Stage 1 starts falling back to Earth
REENTRY BURN
oh boy
Fuck m8, I thought they will show 1st stage entry burn
why are they not showing the rocket camera as it comes down?
lol are you enjoying the NASA CGI channel ? More round earth propaganda bullshit and you're all eating it.
...
A brief frame of the landed stage! but no further word...
LOL FAIL
lol, nobody cares about the 2nd stage
BOOM
if this post ends in 5-9 it landed successfully
Probably can't keep the downlink going during re-entry. They'll get the SD card from the GoPro later.
Not sure why the ground camera latched up like that, though. At least we saw enough to know it happened.
So...did it survive the landing? the fucking feed cut out again...
They really need to work on that drone signal, seems like every time they land it cuts out
I was about to make a very similar shitpost :^)
At least it launched on time this time.
That is the most interesting part, I can't wait for them to try relaunching one.
It looked like the falcon 9 was more on fire than usual and lots more smoke, I think it went bang.
like every fucking landing
i'm starting to agree with the tinfoil people
I saw a lot of smoke and flames
>denise I still love you
>Not sure why the ground camera latched up like that, though
The sound of the rocket causes mega vibrations in the area.
you can see the cursor in the screen
If the cut doesn't feed, you must quit
yeah, same...
THE LEGS ARE ON FIRE
yeah, pretty weird for a fucking space agency to not get things like that working
*of course
Nice to see that Earl has found himself a decent job
what is the velocity of the ejected gas ?
how can the rocket keep accelerating, even when it's at 10000 km/h ?
no way the ejected gas is going faster than 10000 km/h
Which is something NASA solved like 60 years ago but I guess SpaceX is just doing shit by the cheapest bidder
Probably some fucking off the shelf camera
This is why only the government should be allowed to play in space
yeah, thats what I meant. The 1st stage is the most interesting aspect of those missions
...
The video is fed from the drone ship via satellite.
I imagine it's not easy to keep the dish steady when the boat is rocking, and then you've got vibrations from a giant rocket landing.
it's dead, jim
any particualr reason they have to use satellite video ? they can't beam to a ship->satellite->hq?
...
It cuts out because of the interference from the plasma from the engine
OF COURSE I STILL LOVE YOU, BRUH
They can't have any crewed ships near the landing zone, in the event that the rocket goes off course.
>camera locks up
>yea this is why you shouldn't allow others to into space
>because of a camera
