eat them
recycle the can

cover in a thick layer of coarse sea salt (to taste) then throw into garbage.

goes well with crackers and pate frankly. not a bad snak.

Put on toast with mustard, pickled red onion, and dill.

>coarse sea salt (to taste)

stop posting this

So you got a can of fish, you didn't know how to consume?
Got a cat?

eat it for lunch on a warm baguette, dipping leftover bread in the oil

put it on a saltine with a pickle and dollop of cream to accompany your vodka shots

ez source of omega 3s

fisherman's eggs

you... don't like coarse sea salt (to taste)?

those are quality sardines. looks good.

this 2bh

Haven't been here in a couple months. Is this the new forced meme?

chop them up, mix with egg and oven baked bread crumbs, form patty and cook to golden in skillet

Make them with eggs.

recycle them
eat the can

Throw them in a pasta dish.

i just eat them straight out of the can with saltines
7/10

Sautee them with onions, garlic and the oil/tomato sauce they come with, then get yourself a corn tortilla and eat it along with a slice of avocado

Put on Toast with avacado

Add sharp white cheddar and a shake of your favorite hot sauce and it goes to 9/10

With mustard or hot sauce on crackers

>sharp white cheddar
American "food".

i usually buy the hot sauce ones or the mustard ones

also i dont eat cheddar, or really most cheeses

put it on saltines just like grampa

>tfw I just got back from the store and forgot to buy some sardines

This jackass over here salting brined fish

are you retarded? doing anything to taste is... pretty normal cooking. If you follow recipes down to the last detail with no changes, then you've never really cooked.

Those motherfuckers are pretty good with mustard on crackers.

Throw them in the trash

I like to pour the oil from the tin over rice and eat it with the sardines.

straight up deenz and mustard 10/10

gross

Make a large batch of tomato sauce and put a sardine in there. Freeze it for future pasta dishes. The italian MSG man.

Then make a pizza with the rest, or eat them with some bread and eggs.

THIS GUY GETS IT, cover him in thick layer of coarse sea salt (to taste).

Naw but seriously the real thing is that's all Sardines taste like, just the brine. There's not much to do with them you couldn't do with salt. The flavour doesn't really go with anything.

I even enjoy them on pizza too... the brine goes well with cheese, obviously.

but besides WW2 vets, who stills eats them and WHY?

italian Metal Solid Gear man???? why did i read it that way...

I usually just eat them from the can with my fingers.

Ever make fisherman's eggs?

I have a comfort recipe:
I cook pasta, fry some onions and chili in a the pot I have cooked the pasta in until they are brown. Sometimes I deglaze with vinegar, sometimes with wine. I put the pasta back in and stir until all is warm, then I put in the sardines and season it with pepper, salt and dried or fresh parsley.

Dried tomato are also a big plus.

I like them on toast, with some crumbly white cheese like ricotta, some parsley, and a fuckton of hot sauce.

I dont like the spines, so I remove the spines when I put them on the toast. Some people like them and eat them whole without removing them, but the spines creep me out.
