pumpkin soup with cream and pumpkin seed oil

this, shrimps also go pretty good with pumpkin soup.

ham or fish/seafood chowder
sausage and seafood or fowl gumbo
rich chicken noodle soup

Those are my 3 go-to "soups" when it's cold.

Tomato with a grilled cheese before I started having allergic reactions to dairy.

Gumbo and pumpkin soup are my go-to now.

good ol tomato

pea soup!!!

I don't really like soups. Give me a nice heavy strew instead.

love me some beef stew with tons of onions. excellent post.

probably a tie between french onion and a basic potato soup

I made pasulj for the first time a couple weeks ago, which turned out great. I didn't have any slav cured, smoked meats though, so I just used bacon fat to brown everything and added chopped pepperoni in along with smoked paprika instead of the more traditional(probably I guess) unsmoked.

With what I'm more experienced in making, it's probably tinola.

Tortilla soup, chicken noodle, pho, and French onion

post pics. im hungry

Michael Caines' artichoke soup recipe

bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/jerusalem_artichoke_soup_20395

The 30g of butter he mentions in the ingredients is for frying the onions in
The 250g of butter he also mentions is for whisking into the soup at the end (but 150g is more than enough)

This is honestly the best vegetable soup I can think of. I made it last week and I couldn't believe how good it tasted. The blender and sieve stages are absolutely worth it

chicken tortilla soup

Oh and unsalted butter is essential

>french onion

butternut + carnival squash soup
with garlic, shallots, carrots, a little ginger, and cayenne pepper

these, although I prefer a loaded baked potato souup rather than plain old potato soup
Also love clam chowder in a breadbowl

Leek and potato, but I don't puree it. It's good with toasty bread.

nice 'go 'za brah

I don't know if I can pick just one.

Kulajda, a Bohemian dill soup with mushrooms and potatoes is really nice.
Clam or fish chowder.
French onion.
Goulash soup.
Gumbo.
Tomato soup.
Pho, kuy teav, or any similar brothy Asian soup.

spicy chicken soup

chicken
jalapenos
parsley
peeled seeded tomato
garlic

fucking delicious

$0.75 HEB chicken flavoured noodles

As much as i hated it growing up, Grandma's shitty stew made from canned vegetables, crappy leftover beef, and like way too much garlic and paprika.

keeps me warm, saves on cooking time during the winter when finals draw near, also costs like 50 cents a bowl
