Do I get more food with two 12 inch pizzas or one 18 inch?
Do I get more food with two 12 inch pizzas or one 18 inch?
>Is 12 plus 12 more than 18?
You're a fucking retard
For all you know you just end up getting extra yeast with that 18 inch.
9^2 = 81 > 72 = 2*6^2
Hence you get more with one 18" pizza.
18^2>2*12^2
My math isn't the best but the math isn't that linear I think.
HS graduate, graduated 9 years ago.

Forgot most HS math.
hope you're trolling
dumb cuck
Thanks, they're the same price.
18 inch gives 254 square inches, while 12 inch gives 113 each, so 226 in total. Two 12 Inch also gets you more crust but less toppings.
2 12 = 75.4 square inches
18 = 56.5
this does not factor in that the cheese and topping ratio is better with the 18 incher, but if you are just looking for calories I think the 2 12s will be better for you
pi*r^2
2 12":
3.14159*(6^2) = 113.09
2*113.09 = 226.18"
18":
3.14159*(9^2) = 254.46"
fine, i'll bite.
area A = 2*π*r2
two 12 inch pizzas have a area of about 2*2*π*62 =226 square inch
one 18 inch has 2*π*92 = 254 square inch
pi*(r^2)*h for 'go 'za
You are retarded. See
that's r^2 obviously, dunno how that got lost
What the fuck were you thinking?
The math used by and is fine. The area of a circle is pi*r^2, but since pi is obviously the same for both pizzas, it doesn't matter for the comparison. X*9^2 > Z*2*6^2, for all X > 0.
>X*9^2 > Z*2*6^2, for all X > 0
By which I of course meant X*9^2 > X*2*6^2, for all X > 0
google did me wrong with exponentials senpai please forgive
Deep dish kek
>living in a flyover
Literally pi r squared you fucking troglodyte
And what is "r"?
...
R is the radius. Half of the diameter of the pizza. The diameter of a 12 inch pizza is 12. So the radius is 6
Π*(6^2) = each 12 inch pizza
18 inch pizza
Π*(9^2) = 18 inch. Remember the 9 is from the diameter of the 18 inch pizza
the size of the pizza doesn't matter
what you need to know is the weight of the ingredients being used
>capital pi
This is a problem for some educational pbs children's show.
Compare areas of pizzas:
The area of 2 12 inch diameter pizzas is
2*(pi * (12/2)^2) = 2*pi*(144/4)
= pi * (288/4)
= 226.2 sq inches
The area of one 18 inch diameter pizza is
pi *(18/2)^2 = pi * (324/4)
= 254.5 sq inches
So, with one 18 inch diameter pizza you get 254.5 sq inches of pizza and with two 12 inch diameter pizzas you get 226.2 sq inches of pizza.
However if you purchase two 12 inch diameter pizzas you will get more crust than if you purchase one 18 inch diameter pizza since...
Compare Circumferences:
2(2*pi*(12/2)) > 2*pi*(18/2)
24*pi > 18*pi
75.4 inches of crust > 56.5 inches of crust
Literally autistic.
No it's actually elementary level math
If you consider extra diameter food then yes
It's not. The area of a circle does not increase linearly with its circumference.
literally compare the calories of two 12 inch pizzas versus one 18 inch. more calories = more pizza
This is the correct answer. It only comes down to how much you like crust. Imo, the only reason to go for the two 12" pizzas, given they were the same price as an 18" would be if they were stuffed crust.
12 * 12 * 3 * 2 = 864 square inches of pizza
18 * 18 * 3 = 972 square inches of pizza
18 inch is more pizza than two 12 inches
oops i used the diameter as the radius, but the relationship should still be the same
