Seeing pink elephants or looking at a picture of elephants and seeing them "stampede" is a euphemism for being drunk off your ass. It comes from literary works around early 20th century. The "drunken Dumbo" scene I suppose is a decent allusion, so you can say you gad some idea user-kun.

I only have one requirement from a coffee mug, and that is the handle should not get screaming hot in the microwave.
Surprisingly, I have loads of mugs that fail at this. And a few even have gold foil rims and logos, which are all fucking stupid as shit. Coffee mugs and microwaves go hand in hand, shit like that's unacceptable.

Moreover, who can tolerate drinking microwaved coffee? Shit ruins the taste entirely. Cups like are nice because if insulated properly, they keep it warm for ages.

Without knowing that and seeing "the morning after" as well as the elephants actually being white and just outlined in pink I thought it was a reference to Hills Like White Elephants by Hemingway or more specifically abortion hence the morning after since a common name for Plan B is the morning after pill.
