I get how people on sci are dicks a lot of the time.

But the large majority of the times questions like this get this type of response is when one of two things are true:

1) The science involved is so incredibly broad a person could write a phd thesis on the question.

2) The subject is so fringe and advanced that a) no one on sci could likely explain it completely and b) even if they could OP would not even begin to understand it

3) OP has an overwhelming assumption that we want teach the general public about advanced concepts

This post is all three. We want to discuss not have the burden of teaching every curiosity.

Long story short, the big bang theory and string theory are pretty much inconsistent concepts, mutually exclusive (barring any breakthrough).

And string theory is so incredibly infantile and void of respect in the scientific community that it is decades from being able to explore these ideas even by the experts let alone us on Veeky Forums

It simply went on its course normally allowing something which mathematically is potentially possible to "evolve" in the bounds of mathematical laws.

Actually the only issue with some number as small as [math]10^{-300}[/math] is that just about every computer you throw it towards will simply round it off as zero. Underflow is nice, isn't it?

the standard C double data type can represent 10^-308, not to mention BigDecimal or Rational data types from libraries...
