Kind of a cola/subtle-almost-fruity taste that leaves a strange after taste that's kind of addictive on its own. Hard to describe. I kind of like it.

Honestly I prefer it out of the can since it seems more metalic that way. I've had it out of the glass though and it's superior to plastic.

Amongst all the different brands of the same flavor, pibb and pepper taste the most different to me

Live in NC so the only places I can find them were at small hardware stores (Ace Hardware, Town and Country, etc.), small pharmacies that sold glass bottled sodas, and Fresh Market.

It tastes like a slightly bitter cross between Sarsparilla and Birch Beer. I think one of the main ingredients used in it is Gentian extract.

Drank a lot of this when I was abroad. Really nice
