Shakespeare is literally trash that NO ONE here has actually read

Do you except me to believe you when you say you have read Shakespeare's works (or even one play) and actually enjoyed it?

Hello goato

Honestly, sir troll, I don't give a toss about what you believe.
That said, yes, I'm really rather fond of what I read of Shakespeare, which is about a third of the corpus. English not being my first language has gotten in the way of it a bit.

I just read the big three tragedies (Hammy, Mac and the Moor), they were alright.

Hello goato.

Hello goato.

Shakespeare’s comedies are boring. I do like his tragedies, especially “Macbeth” and “Titus Andronicus.” Not only are they interesting, but they’re also especially cruel

Hello goato

>do you except me to believe

>Thinks the comedies are boring
>thinks Titus Andronicus is great
Is this what normies are like who are into Shakespeare?

hello goato

post of the year

I thought Comedy of Errors was pretty good. It's genuinely humorous. I haven't read through any of the tragedies in much depth. There is a great deal of wit and cleverness, but I find the stories somewhat archaic and the forms mostly obsolete.
