God willed it to

Really makes you think

A scalar field doubled the size around 100 times before 1E-32 seconds.
The observable universe grew from less-than-proton to about tennis ball size.
The rest of it, nobody knows.
The only scalar field the SM knows is higgs.

Okay, but how did gravity not collapse it back into a singularity once it became a force?

stfu with your shit retarded memes
because the future already exists. dark energy is attractional force from the future.

Gravity acts at the speed of light.
A simple napkin-calculation gives the speed
of expansion at least 11,000 times faster than that.

So this is all exempt from the concept of light speed somehow?

GR doesn't forbid expansion of space in any way, it's stuff moving relative to spacetime that has the speed limit.

The speed of light is only a limit for cucks, the universe isn't a cuck

So you're saying that beyond the edge of the universe there is not-space that the space is expanding into?

What happens if you walk into not-space?

It becomes space.

Does this mean that if I were to jump into a pool of not-space, I could travel as fast as I wanted because I would only be expanding space with my movement?

For a first, you have to be careful what 'universe' you're talking about.
The Observable Universe (diameter 93 bn ly) very likely isn't the whole universe, it's just a bubble around us by the speed of light being less than infinity.
I find it very suspicious that we would happed to be in the center of it all.
It's like being in a boat in the middle of the ocean, and claiming that the sea is perfectly round and we're in the smack middle of it.

Thing about this is.

You would be traveling as fast as the space you were creating in not-space. Which could be anything.

Well clearly the Big Bang can travel as fast as it fucking wants in not-space

Is it possible to turn space into not-space?

There is no beyond the edge of the universe, it expands into itself

There is no not-space

Then how is space expanding?

It expands into itself. Its doing it right now, right in front of your eyes

How does that work

Are you saying that the universe is actually imploding outwards

Its more like its constantly subdividing the same space

That sounds stupid

Here's my theory on how the universe is expanding

The inwards forces on the singularity pushed so far inwards that they turned into outwards arrows and expanded the universe

You sound stupid

I am enlightened

You won't be laughing when everyone sees the beauty of the outwards implosion theory
