On average I do right under 1000 calorie per day. 5'11/160 lb

dunno, but i do smoke a cigarette with each meal :)

I usually hover somewhere between 1000-1500 calories. Some days more, some days less, but if you averaged it out, that's probably the range I'd be in. I generally only eat one big meal a day at night.

Currently 6', 165lbs.

I think I eat 1500-2000 calories, but then most days I also have 600-1000 calories in alcohol.

I try to eat less, but I don't really try that hard.

Breakfast: cheese and leftover snacks from the day before, or if there is more time: egg cheese and vegemite on a crumpet with veggies or beans, or oatmeal with flax. Three cups of coffee.
Lunch: peanuts and candy, cheese, sometimes pickles or fruit (throughout the day). Diet soda.
Dinner: salad, spaghetti, TVP sauce
Dessert: either 2-4 beers and 2-4 whiskeys or a bowl of ice cream with a cookie

3pm pick me up. I'm not scared of sugar/hfcs.
I've tried the GNC type stims but they just make me anxious and give me a "dirty buzz". The soda works and is a mellow kind of pick me up to get past the 3 o'clock work lull.

If you cut your calorie consumption by three-quarters and it only healthy fully nutritious food you can drastically extend your life according to research.

Lots of water. I lift and swim a lot. Cook in bulk so most of the fridge is tupperware. Freezer mainly filled with chicken, beef, and frozen veggies. For cals, I'd probably say around 3.5-4k a day.

I know someone that was doing research in this with big money. It is not restricted to mice.

Breakfast: chicken biscuit from Chic-Fil-A, hasbrowns, coke

Lunch: skip, too busy I might eat a granola bar

Dinner: an entire frozen pizza usually Red Barron or Domino's if lazy

as i understand it, the longevity is attributed in lower igf-1 levels, not caloric restriction.

i skip breakfast and have one cup uncooked oats (don't know how much that is cooked) 3 fuji apples, cinnamon = brunch

dinner is a variation of beans and other high fiber foods. maybe a protein shake in between these meals or before bedtime.

6'5/195cm/82 kg/180lbs. I try to shoot for less than 2000, free pastries at work are my nemesis tho. I try to make up for those by running more than the usual 5k which I do 3 times a week.

All in all I'm losing weight. I feel like if I can control my weight, that's at least something I can control in my life. I'm always afraid I'll start binge eating again, but thank God that happens less often these days and I can snap out of it after a day or a few days. Why can't you just go cold turkey on food, rationing and controlling it is so fucking hard sometimes. I wonder if I can ever have a normal relationship with food.

lunch: fried brown rice and a stir fry. The biggest meal of the day. Pair with coffee or tea.

dinner/dessert: more rolled oats with grapes and unsweetened cashew milk

I haven't gained a pound in the two months I've been doing this.
