Life has no meaning

>All this super weird specual stuff happens for no reason

Does that make it more special or less special? More real or no better than a dream?

Well you just summed up life right? The meaning is what you make of it when you die.

You forgot
>just smart enough to realise the pointlessness of our efforts, how our achievements will last but a moment in the history of the universe, to be washed away into nothingness by the endless march of time
>compelled against reason to struggle on anyway
Truly human existence is the most tragic on Earth.

Lizard people on another planet somewhere are looking up at their third moon and feeling the exact same thing
>You will never fug a lizard person

We just need a more well developed corprus callossum. We are an abomination in our current form. An beautiful ugly thing that can't quite hack it en masse.

Gauss did that. You fapped to Chinese cartoons

Stop being racist you dumb fuck
Black people are capable of just as much as white people

>implying you would want to fug aliens
You'd have a better chance of fugging a artichoke.

>>implying you would want to fug aliens
implying you wouldn't want to tap dat sweet sweet alien poosy

the universal joke is on you, it can never not be on you even once you understand. you can interpret it as cruel whimsically fulfilling

Maybe we'll be advanced enough to destroy it all one day

There is no meaning. Significance is completely arbitrary. And purpose is a flawed concept.
>>>implying they have poosy

>going through the motions
>realize that you're going through the motions
>realize that you cant do anything else because nothing else exists except the motions

Now you understand religion was created for fun, we'd be living incredibly boring lives if it wasnt for constant wars

>>implying they have poosy
only one way to find out

special for who? For someone else maybe not so special.

"What we do in life echoes in eternity" Not that we are remembered but the events and our lives themselves and what we did can never be changed or taken away from us.

+

Life may be objectively meaningless and we may just be mere mortals but in a way there's beauty in this way of life. To make our own meaning and to live life knowing that one day you truly will cease to exist, just a better to reason to "Rage, rage against the dying of the light"

Why so people keep.plying rhe pisno to the degree of a real.magjitue of entinrgers?

I dont fucking get it

because youre alive so you fucking live and do whatever you think is going to fulfill your boredom and satiate the "why" you keep asking yourself. there is no right answer, its an open ended question.

look up Absurdism (philosophy)

If you're asking what life is or means, why ask other humans?

Why not scream out into the darkness, what is life? The darkness is a part of life as much as your brother or your sister or your wife is.

Any answer (or lack thereof) given by a human is just as much worth any answer given by a rock, or an endless sea of stars, which is to say.. nothing. No, less than nothing.. just (BLANK).

What is life about? Listen to nothing, see nothing, close your eyes, feel nothing. That's what life is about. A giant blank.

Why does that matter to you? Why does it matter to me? My question is also 'blank'. The only thing ever to exist in this reality is an unchanging sea of atoms, in the sense that they just exchanged electrons with eachother and then disappeared. All these questiosn and everything are just projections, humanizations of the void.

>be bald ape
>have self destructive disjointed hackjob excuse for a nature
>just want to discover, build, and have sexy times with attractive females all day
>long since have the means and resource availability to make this a reality
>keep working everyone to death instead
>maintain current control structures despite millennia of iteration having long since given all the answers we could ever need
>ignore it all and keep smashing our head against a wall, surprised when we move through cycles of going unconscious and waking up bloodied and confused
>able to know the ideal, but not implement it. able to understand we're machines, but unable to fix our flaws.
>broken thing that deserves to die out

it meant, precisely:

"lol, get prankd bud"

>tipsfedora.png

We are beings of conflict and resolution. We are merely controlled by an original thought subjugated from another. Identity in oneself? No, our identity is the span of eons of ancestors cultivating a home we will likely destroy, because what is resolution without conflict?

>Why so people keep.plying rhe pisno to the degree of a real.magjitue of entinrgers?

What did he mean by this

Why so many people keep playing the piano of a real magnitude of integers? maybe

~30 billion humans have existed so far, including our relatives from 100000s of years ago, the vast proportion of these have existed only recently as a result of agriculture. So if you were to select a human at random you would be unlikely to be a hunter gatherer from long ago.

If civilization is possible at all and you are a human, you are most likely to be one of the humans that existed after civilization and populations boomed.

Likewise if life is possible in the universe at all, any life that exists will find itself on one of the few planets where life is possible, however unlikely.

>>Be bald ape on a blue rock in an eternal, endless void
>bald ape
Is it more correct to call humans a bald ape or hairy lizard?

in ever crevice of planet earth their is life what evidence do we have for the unlikely hood of life other than crackpot theories designed to make human being think they are special

why do humans continue to play a stupid imaginary numbers game called monetary system?

A featherless biped with flat nails

>why do humans continue to play a stupid imaginary numbers game called monetary system?
Because it allows you to buy things from people easier than bartering.

>A featherless biped with flat nails
Behold, a man!

You're thinking like a scientist, you'll never know the answer.

>lizards having feelings

why are dinosaur wings so delicious

The Jews.

>and be not the one to do all that

Bad joke is BAD.

Does this also mean that humanity won't last much longer?

"You" are created when you are born, you're not a soul inserted into a vessel.

>in ever crevice of planet earth their is life
there*

The most extreme environments on the Earth's surface are far more hospitable than most other worlds. The main problem is a lack of liquid water.

>crackpot theories designed to make human being think they are special
Maybe, but the majority of Americans believe there is life on other worlds and there is no conclusive evidence yet, so I don't think the accusation applies to all. This is recent discovery is compelling though, we might have evidence soon.

observer.com/2016/09/bill-nye-lets-search-for-alien-life-on-jupiters-moon-europa/

Humans maybe, though not necessarily civilization.

I didn't say anything about souls. What do you want with my soul?

And so is the tragic comedy that is humanity

the better question is what IS meaning and who decides what it is? What if my life is potatoes? What if day and night I think only of potatoes?

It's really just a problem of perspective.

As Stephen Hawking said just now, if you don't have anybody "above" you, you think you're all that.

THE JOOS did not invent the monetary system. Try again.

Life only has as much meaning as we prescribe to it, ultimately life has no meaning; the universe will carry on with or without us, however we still know we exist within the bounds of this universe, and even if nothing awaits us after dying we can at least cling to the hope that our achievements and progeny will be able to make life more worth living for those that will come after us, so that they won't have to exist in the state that we do, so that they have a larger measure of autonomy over their lives than we do. We give life meaning for a future we will never see, but one that we know must exist from our observations of the past.
