Helium, because of alpha decay.

Mercury is cool.

carbon for life

Iron is the best and you cant deny that

Iron

Urmomium

fluorine because damn son you crazy
calm down

bismuth crystals look amazing.

Au 79 nygga

Tungsten hands down.

Fire

Fe

Fire

Water is a close second

kek. plebs dont understand the majesty of chromium, i feel sorry for them.

makes steel stainless
gives rubys their red color
gives sapphires their blue color
makes many vibrant colored dyes and paints
keeps us alive
cheap
super shiny and kool

Carbon

Most metals like that are used because they are cheap but still do the job. There are better metals, but they are more expensive.

Agree.

fluorine because of color and it pisses off hippies

I didn't see it on that table, but my favorite element is H20 because if it didn't exist there couldn't be life! XD

Argon or Arsenic

Si

Yttrium

what fucking pleb still isn't part of the Uranium master race?

KEK

Molybdenum. 42 is the answer to life, the universe, and everything

Love

I never really noticed until now but the periodic table spells out my first name in order.
also as the other user said, Cr

Mah nigga carbon

Does Potassium Permanganate count as an atom?

Copper, Cu 2+ is my chemfu

oxygen

Aluminum.

Uranium is pretty exciting.

This desu

>not realizing that Nitrogen is far more important

hydrogen

Alumemeium

yes it is the definition of an atom

>Calling it Cu2+
pleb

buddy 42 had literally no meaning before 1978, only popsci faggots quote this meme

diamond because its the hardest element

This guy know's what's up

check, it's mercury

this one

for what? life?

>hydrogen
It's number 1 for me too.

a lot of lithium

Agreed. Pic related.

Platinum, dem d orbitals

>diamond because its the hardest element
>diamond
>element
kys

Osmium.
Densest naturally occurring metal, favorite number is its atomic number
Makes the best fucking fountain pens
just a well rounded element, pretty sexy too.

> allotropes of carbon
> not an element
eat a dick

Explain why it looks that way please.

Lead, for hiding me from Superman.

Diamond is defined as a crystalline arrangement of carbon.
It is not an element, it is an arrangement of atoms of the element carbon, and often contains significant impurities of various minerals.

Titanium
Almost as strong as steel, almost as light as aluminum, doesn't rust
Shame it's so hard to work with

i like zinc

couldn't imagine a world without zinc

best book of the 20th century

nothing is like chromium

its super cool

path length of the oxide layer varies in the crystal, giving a rainbow effect like oil (same thing except its just a film thickness)

beryllium is better for that

beryllium is the lightest metal and is stronger than titanium, also its more corrosion resistant

the downside is it is massively expensive, they only use it for aircraft/war parts, also its toxic to people :)

Beryllium is actually many times stronger than steel, which of course means it is a lot stronger than titanium as well.

?

Fr

Copper. Not only is it extremely useful, I think it's the most beautiful. Got a 1oz bar of .999% purity. Any smokers here?

Hold copper on your tongue for 30 seconds and then smoke a cigarette. It tastes sweet.

>No one choosing Lanthanide Rare Earth Elements
Bunch a' slack jawed faggots around here

but diamond is a metal, and metals are elements?

Livermorium because I worked there

Appreciate the pun

...

...

SOMEONE TALLY THE VOTES IM ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT

But lazy.

>Potassium Permanganate
it's a compound.

No Patrick, permanganate isn't an atom.

Nitrogen.
Guess my field?

I don't know about you guys, but my favorite element is "the element of surprise" :

Calcium

Cesium

zyklon b
because apparently they managed to kill 5 gazillion jews with this

>zyklon b
>because apparently they managed to kill 5 gazillion jews with this

youtube.com/watch?v=5GCgAlTOpfc

I have no clue how anyone could believe that 60 billion Jewish people were gassed in the Auschwitz gas chambers shown in the picture in this post when these gas chambers are not air tight and would therefore leak out all of the Zyklon insecticide delousing gas, i.e. if all the gas leaks out of the gas chamber, that means that the gas would kill both the Jewish prisoners and their SS guards. See picture in this post.

Nickel because its the first element to have a lower atomic mass than the preceding element and i dunno I always thought that was neat.

Hi Clark.

>I have no clue how anyone could believe

first result in google takes care of it if you actually want to look for those clues

I like oxygen because the smell of ozone is great

fuck yeah user

What about the shape?

I agree

grass?

I HATE HUMANITY I'LL GO TO PLUTONIUM

Formal chargers don't work well with transition metals. Use oxidation numbers.
You don't have Cu[math]^{2+}[/math], you have Cu[math]^{\rm{II}}[/math].

H

Thorium!

Not to say anyone has to agree with me, but I suggest people go watch the two Thorium "documentaries" (they are on the top free documentaries website and YouTube) if you are bored or against nuclear energy!

Oxygen

Purely because of how funny Hydrogen Peroxide can be.
