They have their answer and now they're trying to get it.

It's not just Veeky Forums they're everywhere
Look at /co/ of all places, they're all over the place

I don't understand how /pol/ is such a prolific board. The only explanation I can come up with is a Jeckyll/Hyde metaphor where lit is actually /pol/ half the time, at least here, and that something similar happens on all the other boards too.

I wish /b was here. maybe this board wouldn't be so God dang boring.

/Pol/ my friends, is but a cancer. It continues to grow and grow and leak into other boards. Within mere years we could see /pol/ being the new normal on every single board.

We've been reading too much Nick Land

there isn't. a few here and there, but it's not that bad. The number of 'redpilled' morons cannot be very high.

We have various kinds of conservative posters and Christposters, but they aren't necessarily redpilled types. I think most of them aren't

Because it's an election year.

So election years create /pol/locks like a full moon creates werewolves?

i really hate the influx of /pol/. so annoying to see blatant racism, misogyny, and bigotry come out of nowhere. insensitive assholes with no sympathy towards the plight of others who are less fortunate and less privileged due to skin color/sexuality/gender. im just so sick of it.

Subtle bait.

it's not bait it's new sincerity you assclown

Sincerity is passé, my bridge dwelling friend.

election years also create raving "you are literally Hitler if you vote third party instead of helping to stop Trump, and you are literally double Hitler if you vote for Trump" Hillary supporters. I know too many guys who become insufferable for half a year, once every four.

It really is like a full moon, in the old sense: for the influence of lunacy is really at its strongest.

Who is this spooge stooge?

lit and pol are complimentary despite what people think

Veeky Forums is a reading imageboard, /pol/ is a shitposting board. I don't follow your thinking.

nop, they're not

/pol/ is l i t e r a l l y one of the single biggest recruitment boards for neo nazis on the entire internet. reddit is, too.

we are not talking about fringe movements here. before coontown was shut down reddit and /pol/ together probably beat stormfront in traffic easily.

whilst europe is getting 'invaded' by refugees, /pol/acks are taking over all the popular Veeky Forums boards. mark my words.

it started out as just jokes, making fun of jews for the sake of it. look at where we are now. /pol/ lingo will be the standard on all big boards in the net few years. their views and opinions will be the Veeky Forums mainstream. they won't be edgy anymore, you will.

>one reads as much as possible to better itself, the other tries to force you to only read a very few selected sources to maintain ideology *sniff*
Nope not the same

>implying a Veeky Forums imageboard has that much power

Veeky Forums is one of the few popular communities where you won't be moderated for posting offensive content. On a website where you can basically say whatever you want without being banned, certain topics will win out.

Notice if you go on a site like reddit, any posts that may be controversial or go against the narrative will be deleted and shut down.

Topics that will win out on a site like Veeky Forums: racial realism and the problems of diversity. The biological reality of race is undeniable and the ethnic tension caused by diversity is also undeniable.

It's almost like there's a large amount of politics expressed in literature.
Teens and normies. There's a lot of them. Most of them stick to the normalfag boards, though, like /v/ and /tv/.
/b/ is by far the most boring board. I don't understand how it's so popular. You can't do anything there.

/b/ used to have the biggest influence on this website a long time ago. It all kind of went to shit, and is now defunct by a bunch of redundant boards.

you cannot separate the political from the literary sniff!

You're right. Veeky Forums isn't the one with the power; it's the one being subjected to it. This is just a reflection of worldwide trends, as incensed by material conditions.
And yet, more /pol/ like content is posted to Reddit than Veeky Forums.

It's not as simple as
>Veeky Forums is more free = it is more """"politically incorrect""""

I've only been here about three or four years. I heard /r9k/ is kind of like what /b/ was like years ago. Is that true? Because I could understand that, if it was.

--That said, it still doesn't explain how people still post on /b/.

people on /pol/ don't read, they get their information from a bunch of youtube pseuds who don't read either.

/tv/ is literally ten times as autistic as Veeky Forums, though. Even when we talk about the traditional definition, and not the Veeky Forums one. Veeky Forums is also probably the most normalfag board. It's dead every Friday night.

i never said nor implied that Veeky Forums has power. Veeky Forums is a tool that is being used, in a sense. so it is the other way around. individuals have agency, Veeky Forums enables them to wield power.

But that's not true. For instance if you go on r/science and see threads about the biology of race, you'll see almost all of the posts get deleted. And whenever there's an attack by a muslim, almost everything about it will get deleted from r/news and r/worldnews.

It feels hard to deny that in order to hold up the left wing ideal that everyone on earth is the same, it requires extensive moderation to prevent the truth from getting out.

as someone who enjoys /pol/, i hate when it leaks out into other boards, because its usually the most abject retards spouting memes they dont understand and acting extremely presumptive.

/mu/, /out/ and /trv/ are the most "normalfag" boards

i agree though that /tv/ is pure cancer and populated by disgusting waifufags

I meant Reddit and shit when I said normalfag.

But I don't think Veeky Forums's normal at all. Fairly removed from most of Veeky Forums, yes, but still autistic (in the Veeky Forums sense).
You're right on those subs; but there are other subs which allow it, and which regularly reach front page.

--And a lot of stuff doesn't get deleted from /r/worldnews.

This. There aren't that many far right nutters in the general population, but a good chunk of them are on /pol/. The fact that they're marginal in society means they have few places to go on the internet. It's hardly surprising that some of them come here; it is the same website after all.

/mu/ is so liberal because Pitchfork is so liberal.

First post best post

I've been here since the beginning on both boards. Veeky Forums used to be blandly progressive, sympathetic to radical leftism but nothing else.

Way back, I got banned for posting "Let's discuss right wing literature" or something similar as an OP, with a picture of Evola. The screenshot of my ban was posted a bit on /q/, I think, as an example of Veeky Forums's moderation being creepily heavy-handed and biased.

I say this because it was shortly after that happened that the moderation seems to have changed. Since then it's been increasingly tolerant on both sides, and more tolerant in general of memeposting. Some people are annoyed about the latter, but frankly, these days the board feels less like a SomethingAwful forum, where it's the pet project of some fat tranny SJW who has nothing better to do than thoughtpolice neckbeards all fucking day.

this

I used to frequent several boards and this is by far the one where the /pol/ cancer is least spread. Actually, it's the reason I'm pretty much confined to Veeky Forums these days.

The trend is not exclusive to Veeky Forums. The neorreactionary/alt-right meme is all over the internet. I can understand that blogs with a libertarian bent such as Marginal Memelution were an easy prey, but they've taken over some third-way liberalist blogs I frequent too - sites that in no way should appeal to alt-right types to being with. Yet they are the most active demographic in the comment sections.

>It's a leftist calls everyone who disagrees with his ridiculous ideas /pol/ episode

retard frognigger back to /r9k/

they always sound like out of touch grandmas when they do it too

>Is GamerGate going to MRApe me?? i'm scared!! milo tweeted a hatememe at me and now i'm going to be \pol\ed by hitlerian gamergate lolcats!!

I haven't been on there for years now but it used to largely be a mix of conformists and contrarians, all of them working hard at curating a veneer for their insipid selves. Their opinions were as arbitrary as they were shallow.

Limit yourself to fewer fancy words per clause

For ppl who don't read /pol/ Hillary Clinton killed the DNC whistleblower according to Assange and the media won't report it apart from conspiracy sites

dont respond to this im just providing a service by letting people know

/mu/ is liberal because contemporary music simply does not gel with the "degeneracy" narrative /pol/ tries to push

About 99'9% of contemporary music would qualify as degenerate, leaving /pol/ nazis with neofolk and little else

le epic reddit :-D

Sorry, English isn't my first language so I have a hard time picking up on nuances of that kind.

>About 99'9% of contemporary music would qualify as degenerate,

it is

>"U Guessed It" was not luck. It wasn't a accident. I made the dumbest song I possibly could on a beat full of bass and knew it would blow.
>— OG Maco (@OGMaco)

That's an ignorant thing to say. There are plenty of "far right nutters" in the general population, it's just that they aren't as vocal as the far left nutters, who are much more active on the internet and in the mainstream media.

complete and utter bs. how fucking new are you? no one takes pitchfork seriously, even some random retard like ant fant is taken with higher regard.

this is true.

Current /b/ is absolutely nothing like it used to be, say 8-10 years ago. That's not to say it was good, but it had a distinct character whereas now it's just the dregs who mostly post porn or their dicks at each other all day long.

Oh that's OK then.

Some people just overdo the GRANDILOQUENT VERBIAGE. If it's all crammed together, it seems affected and tryhard.

But there's so damn many of them.
Also, simpler language is more effective.

>everyone who disagrees with /pol/ is a leftist
>/pol/ informs the views of anything that is not /pol/

this should stop

>About 99'9% of contemporary music would qualify as degenerate,

How do you figure?

Do you think you could put what I wrote into your own words for me?

all the cool kids went to /leftypol/

Is Animal Collective degenerate?

ThisTheir worldview is so embarrassing that they dare not share share them in public. The mainstream media (and alt media) never ceases with the idiotic parade of far left nutters assimilating and perverting democratic principles, thus forcing scorn for the left and a continuous shift to the right.

>mfw right wingers think the media works against them

I think u shouldn't listen to what that faggot says, I personally love learning new words and so on and so on. True!

It's literal drug-fueled music by manchildren for drug addled manchildren

remember that time u learned 'ideology' lmao absolute mad man

Noah Lennox has been described by some friends and colleagues as racist. His friend Danny Fields, the American journalist who helped him sign to Domino Records, described him as "Nazi-esque", saying: "Every once in a while there'd be something about Jews and I'd be, 'But Noah, I'm Jewish,' and he was like 'Yes, yes, I don't mean you.' He had a definite Nordic Aryan streak, [the belief] that he was physically, spiritually and creatively superior," a view he appears to have continued to maintain throughout his years as an indie superstar. According to Fields, Noah once attacked a mixed-race woman in a restaurant with a smashed wineglass, saying "I hate black people". During a performance in Berlin, the audience rioted after Noah performed the German national anthem "Deutschlandlied", including a verse omitted since 1945 for its nationalist associations.[23]

Just a broad guess, but anything that

>is made my blacks
>is made by women
>features some sort of sexual innuendo
>is even remotely "vapid" or intended for simple enjoyment
>appeals to hipsters
>or intellectuals
>or is produced by them
>can be in any way related to any sort of "alternative" lifestyle

is generally considered "degenerate" by /pol/

it's made by liberal druggies. it's degenerate.

they dont do much drugs

Whos the big bad /pol/ boogey man, yeeees who your little /pol/ boogey man, yes you are! Yes you are my /pol/ boogey man, yes.

I was already learning about ideology all the time!

>it's a /pol/ack calls everyone who disagrees with his ridiculous ideas a leftist episode

wait wait do you remember when you learned 'lacanian' and Other
time of our lives lmao

This is an English language discussion board.

>liberal
As opposite to authoritarian?
afaik they have never made their political opinions public
>druggies
i mean, they arent smoking crack or some shit like that

Mein Gott, yes! It was very obscene you know!

Suffice to say that it takes very, very little for /pol/ to consider someone or something degenerate

why is he so happy?

Zizek is a hardcore long game deep cover national socialist

well they are probably using correctly according to this
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Degenerate_art

precisely. doesn't mean they aren't full of shit.

>I heard /r9k/ is kind of like what /b/ was like years ago. Is that true?
No not in the slightest. /r9k/ 8 or so years ago was more like /b/ 8 or so years ago. /r9k/ was marginally more gentlemanly, you wouldn't get told to download malware to fix your computer necessarily, you wouldn't get tricked into posting your details and getting pizzas and so on. It also had considerably less memes and slightly more refined interests (Veeky Forums is a spinoff board of /r9k/ for example). Deep&Edgy, one of the early-ish trip fags infesting Veeky Forums was from /r9k/ originally too. It was pretty much /b/ but with the caveat of having to assess originality for a second before posting (because the robot bans you temporarily if you post something unoriginal). The biggest change to both boards was the introduction of the fucking captcha.

Oh and way way way way way fewer horrible images.

Because they can express themselves (relatively) freely on Veeky Forums, whereas in real life the current Zeitgeist is pretty unforgiving to any (alt-)right opinions/beliefs/etc.

Admittedly this is changing however, as Righties and /pol/acks have made capital on the fact that they are now the underdogs - whereas Lefties/Internationalists/etc, fucked up and somehow managed to become the establishment.

The real enemies are the Globalists, however, and they transcend the political divide. (Some) Lefties want free movement/no borders/etc in order to realize their Star Trek egalitarian pipe dreams. (Some) Righties want free movement in order to create a single world market with completely interchangeable producers and consumers.

>Explaining the painterliness of Impressionism as the sign of a diseased visual cortex
kek
didnt know nazis were this dumb

retard frognigger back to /r9k/

how about this
>be us
>2014
>beach anti-capitalist party
>jason derulo song plays
>you stand on the table right in the middle of the anticapitalist beach
>"YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THAT BIG FAT BUTT"
>everyone looks at you and yells with you in unison:
>HEGEL HEGEL HEGEL HEGEL
>PARARAAPPAAA
>HEGEL HEGEL HEGEL HEGEL
u madman

An enlightened robot? Awesome.

Probably because most /pol/lacks don't see their shit board as a containment board and feel the need to shit every other board with their shitposting.

But this won't change as long as pretty much all of the other sites (like Reddit and Tumblr) see Veeky Forums as a shitposting site, and come here just to shitpost pretty much everywhere.
I mean have you ever lurked r/Veeky Forums it's all the cancer in one subreddti, and sadly probably half of its userbase also posts here.

/tv/ is the best board by memetic standards
some fa/tv/irgins are really creative people
is pretty much the closest thing to what /b/ used to be

Wait, what's the deal with the captcha?

They've told us numerous times that they do raids here.

They claim the media is working against them, but I claim that they are right. Such a staunchly right wing machine that forever moves further right as time goes on becomes more and more ridiculous. The few that bought into the idea of getting opinions from media and have no ability to think for themselves anymore have been marginalised in many circles. That part of the right have bought the rope to hang themselves more or less.

A 13-year-old Argentine just puked all over his prodigiously large Kransky.

I honestly don't get this meme.

The benefits of (relative) globalism far outweight the disadvantages. admittedly some demographics benefit more than average from it, and a few people are relatively screwed.

>whilst europe is getting 'invaded' by refugees,

Are you implying Europe isn't get invaded?

Captcha was introduced after the really stupid image malware spread everywhere. The images would be generated by the malware to be unique but contain something like the words "download this image and change the filename to somethingorother.js and be amazed". Then the .js would run and post more such images along with text generated from comments (weirdly would sometimes give pretty good answers).

The malware then got so bad that vast majority of posts were automated so m00t stuck on the captcha.

>all the triggering of leftards ITT

Keep up the good work /pol/

ecksdee

Does this bitch post here?

Anne Frank is dead bro.

>The benefits of (relative) globalism far outweight the disadvantages

If you don't care about culture/etc, then sure.

Mishima anticipated, poignantly, that his fellow Japanese would become little more than 'American mercenaries' if they continued making concessions to America and Globalisation as a whole.

He was right. If you want to live in a world of rootless, interchangeable producers and consumers, devoid of any meaningful differences - be my guest.

>He was right.
Much of what he recognised as Japanese was Portuguese tho. And Americans all drive Japanese cars and try to be Japanese businessmen
