I've had both and both times in New Jersey. It was bretty good but I'm not sure that Jersey is the best place.

Schwartz is very good but a bit pricey. if theres a massive line outside I just can't bring myself to wait..

Also, Montréal smoked meat is neither pastrami or corned beef, although very similar to pastrami. Google around if you want to know the factual difference

so its better than the reuben i get at arbys right?

Swartzs or Katz's is best in the world.
I grew up eating at Schwartz's because my grandpa lived in the neighborhood and would send my dad Schwartz's steak spices in the mail

jersey has to have good smoked meats where did u go?

i think il go to montreal just for schwartz lol

Kenny and zukes deli in Portland has dry cucky pastrami.
Fuck Portland

Do it. Also get a Bologna sandwich at wilenskys, it's near by. Very good.
For fine dining I try Joe beef or Liverpool house

Never had arbys.

A "real" smoked meaat sandwich is thickly cut beef, mustard and fairly thin rye bread.

Pickle on the side and cherry flavoured soft drink on the side optional, nothing else.

Cotts

yes exactly lol

Some small place in Paramus, NJ...can't remember the name. I'd ask my wife but she's asleep.

I'm literally cumming at the thought

Had katz before. Pretty damn good. Bread is fresh, meat is juicy, and mustard is fantastic. The only problem is the $20 price. I'd get it when im in the area but i wouldn't go out of my way for it again.

I do thank them for making me like mustard. All i had before that was disgusting american hot dog tier mustard and i never touched it again.

Only good thing in Jersey is white manna. Best sliders.
Jersey has too many niggers and pajeets though

Attmans deli in Baltimore has best corned beef. It's made in house and some of the best in the country

it's worth a visit for the history, but really there's better and cheaper around.

Smoke meat pete, is probably my favourite.
Dunn's famous is suitable alternative too.

But really the absolute best is to go up to a producer, buy 30$ of smoke meat, rye bread, polish pickles and just eat it at home.

viandefumeequebec.ca/en/

That place is the very best.

montreal smoked meat is literally just smoked corned beef

Dunn's I too dry. Haven't tried petes though. I'll try it next time

respek

true! spices are a bit different and such but yeah same cut and brine idea

Not NYC, it's smelly like piss and full of niggers jews and beaners

get the fuck out /pol/ faggot stop being alive

Jew York shitty

I agree dunn's is too dry, sort of like schwartz. You can get the "fatty" cut to help out but I don't enjoy it as much, up to the eaters taste though !

Jidf pls go

I'm very never had a dry schwartzs, probably cause I order half fatty

I'm fairly sure it's my own fault for getting the dryer meat. I never go when there's a lot of people in line, so the meat rotation in the steamer is slower when I'm around. I guess the time it spends in there drains more fat out, just my guess anyhow

Any other good eats in Montreal you would recommend?

pussy, in the red light district

does langers hold up to schwartz?

I got a handjob once, it was nice to feel the touch of a whore

Nope. Not even close.
Good for west coast though

I covered deli related things in this post If you're around Schwartz st-laurent is full of gems, 3 doors down theres a portuguese rotisserie place where they roast potatoes right under the spinning chicken, all the fat drips down and.. well is just marvelous.

Montreaal is like many other cities, if you walk around and see roasted duck in the windows and it smells amazing from outside, chances are it's gonna be good.

For finer dining, someone said joe beef a bit earlier and I'll second that, toqué is very pricey but amazing and I always love going "au pied de cochon" and roll out of there cause I ate way too much.

Last time I went to au pied de cochon I had the foie stuffed live foot. I drank too much absinthe and liked it up right when I got out the door.
Would not go back.
Joe beer Is killer though. I staged there last time I was in town, the chef is a great guy who really cares.
I'll have to try toque I've heard nothing but good things.

*Pig foot

What's the difference between Pastrami, Corned Beef, and Spam?

Any good brothels that actually fuck in Montreal?

*Puked it up

Sry I'm drunk and not typing good

I'm going au pied de cochon in 2 weeks, I've promised myself to not get any foie gras this time it'll be hard but I can't go through that again!

Just order foie. I eating weekly, it's addictive
Also r8 my tattoo

She has slept long enough. Ask that bitch now and post the response.

Fries suck at white manna tho.

In Toronto go to Centre Street Deli.

Their house made corned beef is excellent, and because they are related to the people that own Schwartz's (apparently) they have the same smoked meat recipe (though the original is still supposed to be slightly better).

Newfag.

Elwood's in Memphis has excellent made in house corned beef. Pretty much the only place in Memphis you can get a good reuben.

Very subtle trolling, if you are trying to troll. Montrealers go nuts when you call Montreal smoked meat pastrami or corned beef.

Never tried them. Fried are overpriced and shitty usually

Fries

can confirm, did reeee

im not that smart

a jew deli reuben is pretty god tier

you should definitely have 1 before you die

but a corned beef one kinda sucks to me in comparison

If you're looking for a quick bite, there's a take out entrance usually hidden behind the line that almost none of the tourists go into. The only issue is that you can only get your sandwich medium or medium-fat I believe.
