I have 500k. Should I go all in BTC right now? Will we see new highs again, or at least 10k+? If so, that's enough for me. Beats blue chips at least. Or was crypto a bubble all along and we're headed for sub 1k?

Thanks just sold 500K.

Wait

there's no way someone with 500k to spare is dumb enough to go all in and not average down

You forget he's posting on Veeky Forums

>Asking Veeky Forums to help you make a £500k investment decision

With that type of money you should just invest it in a trust fund or something

I never understood this meme, what's the idea behind averaging down? I have no idea of knowing for sure if the price is going down, if I knew, I wouldn't be buying now at all. For all you (and I) know, going all in now could be the best deal I could get.

>For all I know

If you're moving 500k, you should have some idea of what a good price to buy in at is. Funnily enough, I also have a large amount of money to push into BTC. The difference between you and me is I've done my research and won't be stumbling around like a dumbfuck like you looking for answers on Veeky Forums

I would recommecd buying it at 2k-3k
> but it's never going there
I hope so.

Stop pretending to know where BTC is going short-term, no one fucking knows, you could spend a week "researching" BTC and you still wouldn't be able to reliably predict the bottom.

I'm not rich. That is literally all my money, I'm living in a modest 2 room apartment having just sold off my parents house. I'm looking to make lifechanging money, not some 5%+/yr boomer gains

I'd go all in, buy in slowly. then exit at 10-12k, that is a sure bet

Only invest if you truly believe in Bitcoin and have the ability to hold long term.

>I want to take something that will guarantee me early retirement and being good for life and trade it for a gamble

you might as well go to a casino dude

I actually wrote a paragraph that would've helped you settle on a buy-in price. I deleted it once I remembered I don't care about helping retards like you. And the fact that you understand less than me but you're still investing all you have is fucking rich.

no-one knows, just curious though, why invest half a million into something like crypto? With money like that you could just buy some safe dividend stocks and live on passive income.

i would do 100k a month for the next 5 months then wait until end november and cash out, december bullruns are a thing of the past now with the new tax laws

Wait for it to hit 6k in a day or two.

>I actually wrote a paragraph that would've helped you settle on a buy-in price.
Pls post I wanna learn

Not with 500k lol

>money to push into BTC.
Why BTC and not ETH or XMR?

Figure it out yourself, faggot. Or maybe go ask reddit for their advice.

If you can't live off 500k with a 13% yield you should consider killing yourself.

yeah, live off the 2%, 10k bucks per year.

Kys

>50k/year to pay for a house and a family, pay tuition for your kids, and also save for retirement
Confirmed larper. Go draw some lines and all-in your 20k

Dude you should totally invest 500k into BTC, trust me crypto is the new paradigm

>kids
>wife
>tuition for the kids
>"""retirement"""

Sucks you got roped into having living liabilities. Have fun living vicariously through others I guess?

k tard

weak bait dyor

The cryptocurrency fad has come and gone. People are no longer interested in it. The price for BTC has stabilized. It will never drop below 5k and it will never rise above 10k. If you want to make money trading within those margins, go for it. But the age of cryptocurrency is now over.

Do it bro
Show us your ledger afterwards so we can laugh at you

>show us your ledger

You just explained the case for averaging down you brainlet

His point is that because you don't know if it'll go down or not maybe your best shot is to buy all of it now in case it starts going up. Probabilistically and empirically, averaging down is more likely to be better, but depending on your luck, well both options can fuck you up or make you money
