I didn't realize the Zoe Quinn thing was an active move on his part. It's just a fucking shame that any literary award with someone in charge wouldn't do something about something as obvious as this.

The only sad part is that Vox Day managed to slime his way into the 'Best Related Work' so that no award was given there, yet the other nomination 'Between Light and Shadow: An Exploration of the Fiction of Gene Wolfe, 1951 to 1986 ' looks like something that would have actually deserved the award.

This is a natural result of the Hugos being the equivalent of an internet poll. The Boaty McBoatface of literary awards. Imagine the horror if the Nobel or the National Book Award was decided by a public vote.
The very fact that they gave awards out based on an effort to counter some literally who twitter guy delegitimizes everything the Hugos have ever, and will ever, mean.
