5/5

damn that's quite an impressive stack. have you accumulated that over time? how much of it have you read? is this related to your work or career, or just personal interest?

Do you mean just the last one or all of them? The last one I got mostly from my dad; I try to study at least a little Bible every day, and I'm going chronologically. I'm only about a sixth of the way through though, since I'm too lazy to read more than a couple verses + commentary usually.

Also the Bible stuff is just interest/religious belief, not career related or anything. I am kinda thinking about getting a Divinities degree though

Bump

Are this really all the books you people own? Didn't your parents buy you books growing up? I thought this was a literature board.

Stack threads are for unshelved books. Most people have their books shelved

Bumpity

Rest of my August reading list

Here you go, user.

This is my "to-read" stack. On Silence atm

These threads fucking suck. No one rates anything.

Rating on this board amounts to a one to four scale; Patrician, What a fucking Pleb, Look at this Pseud, and kys.

Do you actually find those ratings informative or useful?

I don't really see whats the point of these thread t b h, I kinda get bookshelf, because well, its bookshelf porn and people want to show off

but what do you guys expect with the rating stuff?
>5/5 patrician taste buddy, congrats
?
Its your opinions and views on the books that matter, not what you have stacked to read and probably won't read most of it for 5 months

10/10

I'm not going to bother taking a photograph, but imagine the following stack:
Capital in the 21st Century
But What if We're Wrong?
Freakonomics
Guns Germs and Steel
Collapse
The World Until Yesterday
Between the World and Me
any book by Matt Taibbi

Finally someone with good taste

These are my to read pile

I'm really happy with these cops, especially Ada and Yeats, I've been looking for the latter for quite some time
