Tfw hate communism but have no good arguments against it

>tfw hate communism but have no good arguments against it

Read Ayn Rand - Atlas Shrugged, it literally saved my life

human nature

What about the argument that every time it has been put into practice it has resulted in a failed state that can only be saved by implementing capitalism?

Don't read Ayn Rand, read F. Hayek and complexity science.

it was either state capitalism or centrally planned socialism not communism

It always starts from the premise of absolute freedom but always ends in absolute despotism.

They'll just get back at you with
>no real communism has happened yet bro
Which is true if you're going by Marx, but jeez, then how fucking terrifying would the real thing be if none of those failures were hardcore enough?

this argument again?

...

Great gif desu

Communism was Marx's 'baby's first anarchy'.

Remember when Socrates defined the perfect society.

I just watched this three times in a row. This is great, user.

Lmao 10/10

Im a communist and I fucking hate this argument that USSR and China, Venezuela, etc, arent real socialism. I see it as the equivelant of saying that the Congo is not capitalist. They were and are real attempts at revolutionary socialist countries and they failed miserably. The challenge for modern socialists should be to see why these glaring flaws occured (a vanguard elite and restriction of personal freedoms are a good place to start looking).

which is the dumbest

>Remember when Socrates defined the perfect society.
Don't you mean Plato? I wonder how well a dictatorship made of philosophers would work out. But I imagine it would be extremely painful to find out.

>the government was elected to make this the land of milk and honey
>yep
>so this must be the land of milk and honey
>no, retard

for you

>I wonder how well a dictatorship made of philosophers would work out.
Marcus Aurelius

For arguments against communism: read anything by an anarchist or a democratic socialist.

For arguments against anarchism or democratic socialism: read anything by a communist.

Even if you're stupid enough to fall for the conspiracy theories stating that whatever normal people write is part of a ruling class scheme to misinform, the socialists make good arguments against each other.

Communists are in favor of totalitarian regimes and systematically combat freedom of thought, oblivious of the fact that the principal victims of dictatorships are, precisely, intelligence and culture.

Many people are in favor of dictatorships because they allow them to avoid thinking for themselves. Everything is presented to them ready-made. There are even agencies of the State that supply them with opinions, passwords, slogans, and even idols to exalt or cast down according to the prevailing wind or in keeping with the directives of the thinking heads of the single party.

Isn't that just a dictatorship (monarchy, whatever you want to call it), with the dictator happening to be a philosopher?

I don't understand the difference

Pretty much this desu.
While I'm not totally on Ayn Rands philosophy her destruction of collectivism morally and practically in this book is quite good.

We just have to keep it up for several generations, and then it won't be necessary to conduct purges and brainwashing. Selfishness is something that people learn from being immersed in capitalist society, so once we get rid of it there will no longer be any problems.

poor man's stirner - the ego and its own, tbqh

>he will never be your president
why live bros

I don't need a good argument against communism when I can rightfully deny the universalist axioms of ethics/moral principles of globalist Western civ by pointing to the (neuroscience- and history-backed) vile and tribal nature of man.

People will never change (thank God) -> your memes stay daydreams

First and last post on this silly theory by oversocialized "cosmopolitans".

>Rand
>moral
>good

Kek

>moral

communism is by definition stateless, so what you are describing is socialism

>communism is by definition stateless

Doesn't mean it isn't any less totalitarian. Communists literally say that they have to "educate" people out of the false ideology and the false needs that capitalism creates in people, which essentially means a kind of extremely invasive social engineering, and will label and kill anyone who disagrees with it as class traitors and bourgeois subversives.

Why dont you just say muh gorillions like everyone else, that always works

How about every single communist country out there has failed miserably, and adopted capitalism, even if they still call themselves communists.

reddit newfag doesn't understand fedora meme

>extermination of the indigenous Americans: 100 million
Might as well say 100 billion.

t. You and the world owe me something because I exist.

100 million is a reasonable estimate for genocide of two continents worth of people

This post is a very good example of "Whataboutism".

>implying I'm a communist

...

> ideology about breaking down oligarchy
> oh hey let's put in an oligarchy to "temporarily" lead us into end game stateless anarchism
>??????
> Fascism!!!!
