Nobody can compose psychological turmoil like Kafka, nobody can construct universal insights out of personal anxieties like Kafka, nobody can write such strange wonderful sentences, nobody can imagine such indelible and fantastic images, nobody can match his wit, his parabolist wisdom, his theological, legal, philosophical, and aesthetic vision. His books read like mainlines to the modern human psyche. Even his incomplete works like Wedding Preparations in the Country are loaded with more power and intelligence than the next million writers; the man was simply a genius.
