Story of the Eye by Bataille
Lolita is not really fucked up, it's just depressing really.
If you want a laugh read the SCUM manifesto or that thing Elliot Rodgers left behind
No, Lolita isn't fucked up at all.
salo
Uhh sexist much?
This desu
crash
apocalypse culture
naked lunch
sade
I am very sexist but I don't see how you got that from my post
Flowers in the Attic by Virgina Andrews lmao
Naked Lunch is the first that comes to mind
he's a mind reader. also scum manifesto is disturbing at all.
>I wanna read something really fucked up.
Blood Meridian
Child of God
Most of Chuck Pahlaniuk would fit the bill.
Good answers
120 Days of Sodom or American Psycho.
Hunger or PKD's Exegesis could also work depending on what you mean by fucked up, maybe the second half of Elliot Rodgers' thing
Chuck Palahniuk is just tryhard edgelord cor. His stuff isn't fucked up in a real, affecting way.
i generally like book covers but i hate the way every book cover of lolita makes it look like cheap erotica.
It's NOT EROTICA
I tried lolita but i had to look up a new word every page and couldnt immerse myself and gave up after chapter 1
Perfume
Lo was erotic to Humbert though.
I can't imagine how soft and middle class people have to be to find blood meridian disturbing.
gravitys rainbow
he did burroughs better than burroughs
My diary
t. desu
this. Blood Meridian is child's play. I personally have sicker and more twisted thoughts every single day.
I wasn't being edgy like that, it's a great book I think. I just can't imagine being disturbed/horrified from it.
*spits*
*wipes chin*
Ye.
...
"Fucked up" and "great" are usually mutually exclusive.
Also depends what you mean by fucked up.
Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep is fucked up.
So is Pornucopia.
Wouldn't call either of them "great" but they're fucked up in two entirely different directions.
The Black Jewels books by Anne Bishop are extremely fucked up in every possible direction. They're essentially an exploration of every possible kind of sexual abuse in a fantasy world designed by the edgiest hot topic goths.
There's an actual plot and the writing is sort of competent.
Hogg. It is so beautifully disgusting.
Confusions of Young Törless is much more fucked up than Lolita
Naked Lunch?
A Scanner Darkly, especially that opening sequence. Some may not like that but I'm a fan of Dick's semiminimalism.
The Bible
Damn, I kind of agree with your point but still
Cows?
Anyone know anything similar to that one?
Here's a recommendation. I would also recommend The Road by McCarthy as well.
120 Days of Sodom?
I thought it was pretty fucked at points. Hilarious at others.
Damn, just posted this
read a little about this one, seems fucked
but some reviewers said the characters and story had no depth
how would you personally describe it?
...
I'm reading it in the original German right now. It's pretty good. Nicely written as well.
the only good answer

The Crow Girl
>Peepin at a bitch cause my dick's on hard
>Laughing at the dumb ass security guard
Right edgelords, right.
Now THIS is some fucked up shit.
Spare Key
I'm going to reply even though I wasn't the one who originally mentioned it to you, and also because I'm the only one who has probably read it on lit. I personally thought it was a a very interesting study of sexuality and human depravity. It's kind of thought-provoking in how it displays this world that seems so foreign to our own that is yet relatable enough that you recognize these people exist and the plot of this story could have existed. I'm not really into true crime but sometimes I read stories about unresolved mysteries, and it kind of gives me the same feeling. Like I said, it's a study of human depravity and is thought-provoking in that endeavor.
Also I've never read the book but after talking to my friend who has read it, it kind of gives off a similar feeling to Less Than Zero in that it really makes you think, but amplified.
It's like if Samuel R Delaney was literally the best at being edgy - so edgy in fact that he instilled pure degeneracy into the pages. I'm not going to say it's an incredible novel, but I'll say it's really incredible how well it can make you say, "God damn," then think about how these things seem so insanely distant from your own life yet are still closer than you would like.
***I've never read Less Than Zero, I have read Hogg.
Way too much of the word "insertion"
Lolita is a great book and really isn't fucked up, it's rather a story about love, lust and obsession.
What I'm going to say is going to sound like a joke or troll but I'm 100% serious. If you really want to experience fucked up shit, read YA and Erotica. Start with John Green and go further and further down the rabbit hole. It's a grueling experience that has made me question the human condition more than reading the Greeks.
I have read every single book by John Green and that's only the beginning.
I kid you not, you will learn so much about life reading the twenties book on horses or the fifth book on gay three way vampire erotica, not because of the plot or ideas behind the book, but because it will show the real fucked up shit and you will really start to ask yourself a lot of things.
I would even go as far as to tell someone to fuck reading Philosophers like Nietzsche or Schopenhauer, they raise good points, sure, but you read their ideas while when reading Ya and Erotica you get to experience the real, fucked up, human condition.
Do you have some recommandations aside from John Green? Which YA made you think the most?
>t you read their ideas while when reading Ya and Erotica
That's a goddamn lie and you know it
