Colombian hot dogs can be quite good. It might have some pineapple, potato sticks, hard boiled quails eggs, cilantro and garlic rich mayo, spicy mustard or pink sauce, sometimes some salty fresh queso, just a big generous mess of a thing.

I also love an icelandic hot dog, with the crunchy onions.

Ketchup is actually the most common topping, with mustard and relish also being standard.

raw chopped onion
sweet relish or dill relish
sauerkraut
ketchup
mustard, probably a yellow and a spicy brown both
mayo
They may also have an onion sauce like Sabretts, which is a tomatoey-sweet onion chutney. They might also have sliced jalapenos or some kind of hot sauce.

try microwaving the dog with mustard on it then eat it on white bread with tobasco. Great after killing a case of beer over the course of 5 hours
