I don't have a TV, and I'm not that guy, but I really don't see the issue with pronouncing words correctly. There is nothing more cringey than listening to Renee Montagne or Indira Lakshmanan stumble over a word because they didn't skim the transcript before reading it or double check how something is pronounced.
