Boil noodles, heat oil in pan

Boil noodles, heat oil in pan.

Is the pan Nice and Hot though?

Heavy dose of S&P on shrimp, light dusting of MOCHIKO.

Carbon steel pan, nice and hot.

Flip flippidy, don’t over cookidy.

I'm excited, OP.

I fucking love cooking.
These shrimp cost ~¢20 each; the entire meal is well under $3.

Stop eating fast food, assholes!

Six pretty little shrimp, lightly tossed in buffalo sauce.

Chilled soba noodles dressed in caesar.

BOOM!
Caesar soba w/ crispy buffalo shrimp.
You put this shit on the menu of any restaurant near me and you have a one way ticket to flavor town.

You've made me hungry, OP. I dig it.

Looks gucci but not particularly filling
Might just be the bowl depth though

It was just a light lunch. Everything could easily have been doubled, and vegetation added.

I could live with the buffalo shrimp, but Caesar soba noodles has gone too fucking far.

If it's not too filling for you just boil a couple of potaytoes until they're soft and shove them down your throat.

Now enjoy the fucking shrimp.

shrimp looks okay but you fucked it up with your gay noodles brah

something has gone awry here

It's not like it's some kind of crazy combination.

The shrimp compliments the caesar well as they both have a fishy kind of flavor, and the buffalo shrimp goes with the caesar in the same way it would go with ranch or blue cheese.

Make dashi stock.

>using a dashi mix
>not just making your dashi from scratch

wew lad, it's not hard at all and takes like 5 minutes.

>haters gonna hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate

Mix chili paste, chili powder, and sugar.

Add rice cakes to stock and simmer.

Add chili paste mixture and green onions.

When reduced to a sauce consistency, throw in a couple hard boiled eggs.

Serve with more green onions.

>nom nom nom

Another quick and easy, cheap and delicious meal.

Feel free to make your own dashi if you think it'll make a difference after you add all that gochujang; I personally just don't usually have bonito flakes on hand.

I shouldn't have laughed as hard as I did..

Do you make or buy your rice cakes?

it doesn't really make a difference unless you're using nice/expensive katsuobushi and or nice konbu but even then it doesn't really even matter unless you're drinking the dashi straight

Fucking amerifat, you had to have your caesar and buffalo memes and ruin the dish

You can see the package

>you had to have your caesar and buffalo memes and ruin the dish

But user, those ARE the dish.

Sorry, I was skipping around pics. Derp.

So many things in this thread just don't jive with me. But I'd give it a shot if placed in front of me.

The rice cakes are straight from Maangchi.

I'd poach the eggs tbqh, but otherwise 7/10 thread. Please never say "nom nom nom" again, though

Fuck off back to r*ddit

Poaching the eggs in the sauce would actually be a pretty good idea.

Why do you add chili paste AND chili powder? Wouldn't the paste be enough?

They add two different things.

based amerisauces triggering yurocucks

Doing god's work.

Radish.

Chop chop, salt and sugar.

Radish juice.

Chili powder, fish sauce, ginger, garlic, green onion.

Put it all together.

Mix.

Press down into a container, cover, and leave out until bubbles start to form, then refrigerate.

Two weeks later and your stupid, boring radish is magically transformed into god-tier kimchi.

Goes good on pizza.

Fried calamari tossed in buffalo sauce and served over a caesar salad used to be a favorite FoH staff meal/secret menu item at a restaurant I used to work at.

Is it really this simple? This shit costs like $6 a bottle where I live.

Pretty much. Check out Maangchi on youtube.
