Meursault, the main character

human existence

That's not saying much.

the sun and when it's hot
>tfw it explains terrorists

protip: you don't want to be like Meursault

about a stranger

I only wish Camus had acknowledge the absurdity of death fights over a fuck.

Au contraire. Everyone should be as Meursault

it's everything actually

No, because it doesn't say anything about Camus take on human existence.

read his books then

autism

I have. That is the very purpose of this post, to see what other people got from it. Gut gott.

Mersault is the absurd man described in The Myth of Sisyphus.

Meursault isn't in the search for meaning, he has no regard for such nonsense. His problems are not internal.

Shooting an Arab

Arabs ruining everything.

Well, Raymond was a hot-headed fuck.

Yeah he's a cunt as well, but I think we can all agree that a world without Arabs would be better for everyone.

It probably would. But what you really have to get rid of is Islam. Arabs were aight in the Middle Ages.

to see ur mama die, to fuck a woman she loves u but u dont. and kill moors and not give a fuck in the court

Your interpretation changed my life.

>Middle Ages: typically between 1000-1400
>islam started in the seventh century
>Arabs were ok in the Middle Ages
????

Did everyone else have the jive that Meursault only shot the arab because he was afraid of returning to Marie with his tail between his legs?

dont underestimate this, u forgot that is about a MAN

and u cant understand that

he shot it only bc he could, and thats the only reason.

Islam used to be more moderate and open to other cultures during that period of time. It was a period for the best scientific development in the arab world. Then everything went to shit and radical Islam took over. That's not to say Islam was the driving force of said development of science, it must have hindered it in a way, albeit way more subtle than nowadays.

>she loves u but u dont
Just this line misses everything by a thousand miles.

"i want to marry you"
"ok, why not idc"

Yes, but it's not the fact that he doesn't «love» her. It's how Meursault perceives love in a non-selfdeluding way. Meursault is above all a consequential person. His self-delusion is at a minimum and he acts accordingly. Meursault shines an intense light over the absurdity of the terms we throw so lightly all the time.

So basically it's wahabism you dont like

I don't like any Islam. Wahhabism is just worst

no tears only apathy now

...

How being ""despooked"" makes life unlivable.

Camus was an idiot but he was right about that.
